In some cases, display driver times out waiting
for the mdp hw recovery to complete, causing the
device to panic; however in some cases hw is
able to successfuly complete the recovery after
some more time.
This change increases the timeout, so driver
waits more time for the hw to complete the
recovery sequence.

The overlay zorder values copied from user space are used
as index in left_lm_zo_cnt and right_lm_zo_cnt. This fix
will validate the overlay zorder value copied from user
space to not go beyond MDSS_MDP_MAX_STAGE, thus preventing
any arbitrary increments in kernel memory.

This reverts commit 9d6fd2c3e9fcfb ("Merge remote-tracking branch
'msm-4.4/tmp-510d0a3f' into msm-4.4"), because it breaks the
dump parsing tools due to kernel can be loaded anywhere in the memory
now and not fixed at linear mapping.

Current implementation checks for the DSI PLL to be off prior to
shutting down the DSI PHY, and reports a warning if the PLL is
still detected to be on. However, this check is incorrectly
implemented resulting a false warning being printed every time
the display is turned off. Fix this by reading the right set of
registers to check for the PLL status.

Update the DSI phy v3 initialization sequence as per the
recommended values. The key changes include deferring the
enabling of the global bit clock until after the PLL is
locked, along with updates to the lane strength settings.

Add compatibility checks for the new LM configs sent by dest
scalar with the DSC slice width/height during validation. Without

The lineptr interrupt is expected to be triggered and have the
ability to be updated instantly whenever the panel is fetching
data. Previously, enabling lineptr was tied to kickoff and disabling
to pp_done work. Add capability to change the lineptr value instantly,
when auto-refresh is enabled and avoid disabling lineptr during that time.
Once enabled, lineptr can only be disabled when 0 is written to the node
while auto-refresh is enabled.

msmcobalt has a different command mode MISR CRC register offset. Correct
the offset for the MISR control and signature registers, and correct the
block_id by lookup the INTF number from CTL.

Update the Display-Port PHY and PLL configuration
with the recommended settings. Remove the
support for 9.72Ghz VCO frequency. Update the divider
settings to support the new frequency plan.
Update the Phy Aux settings and voltage/pre-emphasis

Use the external display as a wrapper for operations making
it necessary for clients to only need a pointer to the external
display platform device. The external display will implement the
book keeping required to map operations to the correct display
interface.

Fix the OFF path for display-port driver when cable is
disconnected. Check for link clock status before accessing
any of the mainlink registers. Use common mutex for
DP_ON and DP_OFF sequence. Remove the resource vote
when PLL is diabled.

This change corrects the pipe priority validation logic, without
this change pipes with higher priority failed validation.
For ex dma3 rect 0 is higher priority than dma0 rect 1,
was failing priority test.

Add sysfs node to provide the status of display-port's cable
connection. Framework may query about the interface connection

Currently hdcp 1.x is being used by HDMI only. But it can be
used by other interfaces like DP (Display Port). Change the
name of the hdmi_hdcp module to hdcp_1x so that different
interfaces uses more generic name for hdcp 1.x instead of
the interface specific name.

Initialize the hdcp 1.x module and get hdcp operations.
On DP power, start the hdcp authentication and handle
the result in a call back. Re-authenticate in case
authentication failed. When DP is powered off, tear down
the hdcp session.

Commit 028cd86b794f4a ("video: da8xx-fb: fix the polarities of the
hsync/vsync pulse") fixes polarities of HSYNC/VSYNC pulse but
forgot to update known_lcd_panels[] which had sync values
according to old logic. This breaks LCD at least on DA850 EVM.
This patch fixes this issue and I have tested this for panel
"Sharp_LK043T1DG01" using DA850 EVM board.

The Xen framebuffer driver selects the xen keyboard driver, so the latter
will be built-in if XEN_FBDEV_FRONTEND=y. However, when CONFIG_INPUT
is a loadable module, this configuration cannot work. On mainline kernels,
the symbol will be enabled but not used, while in combination with
a patch I have to detect such useless configurations, we get the
expected link failure:

This removes the extra "select", as it just causes more trouble than
it helps. In theory, some defconfig file might break if it has
XEN_FBDEV_FRONTEND in it but not INPUT_XEN_KBDDEV_FRONTEND. The Kconfig
fragment we ship in the kernel (kernel/configs/xen.config) however
already enables both, and anyone using an old .config file would
keep having both enabled.

Because of CBCR update, mdss driver needs to control mdss axi clock
state of memory core and periphery control when branch clock is off.
Since mdss does not have retention requirement for axi, both memory core
and periphery control can be turned off to conserve power when mdss
axi clock is off.

Read the minimum and the maximum voltage levels for the CX supply
from the device tree and use those values to program the CX supply.
This allows for flexibility in configuring the levels across
multiple targets.

Make hdcp 1.x interrupt handling generic for any supported interface.
Add Display-Port interrupt related data and handle interrupts in
ISR. Do this dynamically based on which interface is connected like
HDMI or DP.

Hookup sink's aux addresses for data read and write to be used
for hdcp 1.3 authentication so that hdcp 1.3 state machine can
dynamically select sink addresses for different interfaces.

hdcp 1.x state machine so that hdcp 1.x can be programmed
