| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Pass wowlan configuration data as parameter in the rdev suspend. The userspace wlan utility (iw, wpa_supplicant etc.) configured the wow pattern and event through nl80211 cmd. During the wlan system suspend the wlan device configured the wakeup source and event as per the configuration data passed by the wlan utility to wkae up the device from the sleep state on wow pattern or event match. Currently, cfg80211 subsystem and wpa_supplicant is not aware of qcacld-3.0 internal support for wowlan, due to which wpa_supplicant is issuing disconnect on suspend, resulting in wowlan failure. Wake on Wireless is enabled by default in wlan driver (CLD) and cfg80211 layer never aware of wake on wirless enabled status done in wlan driver. To avoid the disconnection while going to suspend and keep wlan driver in WOW mode by default, the commit "cfg80211/mac80211: disconnect on suspend" should be reverted. If a driver exports multiple addresses, it is assumed that it will be able to deal with that many different addresses, which need not necessarily match the ones programmed into the device; if a mask is set then the device should deal addresses within that mask based on an arbitrary "base address". To test it all and show how it is used, add support to hwsim even though it can't actually deal with addresses different from the default. On resume, every BSS in the scan list looks like it was scanned within the last 10 seconds, irregardless of how long the machine was actually asleep. It does no longer require the caller to do the proper buffer termination and size accounting, which is currently wrong in some places. This patch creates the core cfg80211 code along with some sysfs bits. This is a stripped down version to allow mac80211 to function, but doesn't include any configuration yet except for creating and removing virtual interfaces. This patch includes the nl80211 header file but it only contains the interface types which the cfg80211 interface for creating virtual interfaces relies on.
