Syzkaller found several variants of the lockup below by setting negative
values with the TUNSETSNDBUF ioctl. This patch adds a sanity check
to both the tun and tap versions of this ioctl.

The D_CAN controller doesn't provide a triple sampling mode, so don't set
the CAN_CTRLMODE_3_SAMPLES flag in ctrlmode_supported. Currently enabling
triple sampling is a no-op.

SUN4Is CAN IP has a 64 byte deep FIFO buffer. If the buffer is not
drained fast enough (overrun) it's getting mangled. Already received
frames are dropped - the data can't be restored.

Some firmwares in Huawei E3372H devices have been observed to switch back
to NTB 32-bit format after altsetting switch.
This patch implements a driver flag to check for the device settings and
set NTB format to 16-bit again if needed.
The flag has been activated for devices controlled by the huawei_cdc_ncm.c
driver.

The default for the maximum number of tx/rx queues of one interface is
the number of cpus of the system today. As each queue pair reserves 512
grant pages this default consumes a ridiculous number of grants for
large guests.
Limit the queue number to 8 as default. This value can be modified
via a module parameter if required.

The pdev suspend configuration in the WLAN firmware is specific
to the hardware version and bus interface. Add hardware param
for each wlan hardware version and use the hardware param value
during wlan pdev suspend to avoid the power leakage during
system suspend.

Same as driver register work, driver unregister work event wait may
be woken up by signal and then exit. This is not expected for WLAN
host driver unregister and it should wait till timeout happens.
Change the work event wait to be uninterruptible.

To avoid kernel warning "Unhandled message (68)", ignore the
CMD_FLUSH_QUEUE_REPLY message for now.
As of Leaf v2 firmware version v4.1.844 (2017-02-15), flush tx queue is
synchronous. There is a capability bit indicating whether flushing tx
queue is synchronous or asynchronous.
A proper solution would be to query the device for capabilities. If the
synchronous tx flush capability bit is set, we should wait for
CMD_FLUSH_QUEUE_REPLY message, while flushing the tx queue.

When loading wlan driver, driver will check if chip is initialized
by reading pci io FW_IND_INITIALIZED status. While timeout occurred
when wait for above status randomly in multi load-unload process.
Restore pci config space before enable device during resume pci link.

Validate the userspace wlan control cmd data, info and length
before copy into wcnss driver buffer. Avoid unnecessary string

Register ops to store the gtk rekey data from the wlan
utility(wpa_supplicant) and configure the GTK offload
during wow suspend.
If the wlan module in suspend state with wowlan mode
this feature adds support to prevent the device to wakeup
from sleep state on gtk rekey failure in wlan firmware.

After firmware crashes, driver will try to recover the device by
resetting hardware and reloading firmware. Add a debug quirk option
to skip the recovery so that WLAN device can still remain the status
after crash for live debugging.

HL1.0 firmware sends phyerr_mask in the phyerr
event, which needs to be used to determine the
type of phyerr.

Define data structure and callback for the ARP and NS offload
for the ath10k wcn3990 WLAN module. Configure the ARP offload
parameter and enable ARP offload request flag for each vdev
if the vdev in station mode.
This feature adds support to wakeup the device from sleep state
through wowlan event if the ARP request pattern matched with
pattern configured by WLAN module during wow suspend.

During the WLAN WOWLAN mode the default listen interval needs
to be configured for each vdev to receive and process the WLAN
WOW pattern match found by the WLAN firmware.
Improper listen interval configuration for the vdev leads to WOW
pattern match missing by the WLAN module and a result WLAN module
failed to wakeup the target as per the WOW pattern configured
during WOWLAN suspend method.

When doing WLAN SSR tests on Rome PCIe platform, system hang
is observed. After debugging, setting D3hot to PCIe link when
suspending leads to the hang.
Setting D3hot is a new change, which is added for Napier platform.
But this code path shares with legacy Rome platform. In previous
implementations for Rome PCIe platforms, setting D3hot to link
is not needed.
Fix is to set D3hot for Napier specific platforms.

In commit 40b368af4b75 ("rtlwifi: Fix alignment issues"), the read
of REG_DBI_READ was changed from 16 to 8 bits. For unknown reasonsi
this change results in reduced stability for the wireless connection.
This regression was located using bisection.

Here, I'm reducing the stack size by marking as many local variables as
'static const' as I can without changing the actual code.
This is the first of three patches to improve the stack usage in this
driver. It would be good to have this backported to stabl kernels
to get all drivers in 'allmodconfig' below the 2048 byte limit so
we can turn on the frame warning again globally, but I realize that
the patch is larger than the normal limit for stable backports.
The other two patches do not need to be backported.

The dlc member of the struct rx_msg contains also the ESD_RTR flag to
mark received RTR frames. Without the fix the can_dlc value for received
RTR frames would always be set to 8 by get_can_dlc() instead of the
received value.

If sending messages with no cable connected, it quickly happens that
there is no more TX context available. Then "gs_can_start_xmit()"
returns with "NETDEV_TX_BUSY" and the upper layer does retry
immediately keeping the CPU busy. To fix that issue, I moved
"atomic_dec(&dev->active_tx_urbs)" from "gs_usb_xmit_callback()" to
the TX done handling in "gs_usb_receive_bulk_callback()". Renaming
"active_tx_urbs" to "active_tx_contexts" and moving it into
"gs_[alloc|free]_tx_context()" would also make sense.

When driver loading and registering to cnss,
the interruptible wait in cnss_driver_event_post
could be woken up by signal. In this driver
register failure case, the __hdd_module_init
will release all the driver resource.
But the cnss_driver_event_work is still probing
the driver normally in the same time. The driver
state mismatch will cause crash.
Fixed by using non interruptible wait for driver
register
