commit f00ab14c252ac459e86194747a1f580ab503c954 upstream.
This used to return -EFAULT, but the function above returns -EINVAL on
the same condition so let's stick to that.
The removal of error return on this path was introduced with b093410c9aef
('mmc: block: copy resp[] data on err for MMC_IOC_MULTI_CMD').
Fixes: b093410c9aef ('mmc: block: copy resp[] data on err for MMC_IOC_MULTI_CMD').

Running mmc-cmdqd as a prio 120 thread forces it to compete with standard
user processes for IO performance, especially when the system is under
severe CPU load. Move it to a SCHED_FIFO thread to reduce the impact of
load on IO performance.

This reverts commit eea999d7487ac5b48ce48d4be60b7c7377aae7df.
As a part of above commit, mmcqd thread's priority was
modified to sched_fifo making it a RT task. This resulted
in starving other tasks like watchdog and starting hiting
watchdog bite error. This is expected if there are too
many requests to SD card and since it is fast enough to
serve the requests, it may starve other tasks.
Hence reverting the change to avoid such issues.

commit d806b46e5f496a6335ebd7f8432d2533507ce9a2 upstream.
Apparently a cut-and-paste error, 'do_data_tag' is using 'brq' for data
size even though 'brq' has not been set up. Instead use blk_rq_sectors().

[ Upstream commit a5ebb87db84392edfd3142c3a6a78431d820a789 ]
This reverts commit 829b6962f7e3cfc06f7c5c26269fd47ad48cf503.
Revert this change as it causes a sysfs path to change and therefore
introduces and ABI regression. More precisely Android's vold is not being
able to access /sys/module/mmcblk/parameters/perdev_minors any more, since
the path becomes changed to: "/sys/module/mmc_block/..."
Fixes: 829b6962f7e3 ("mmc: block: don't use parameter prefix if built as
module")

[ Upstream commit 382c55f88ffeb218c446bf0c46d0fc25d2795fe2 ]
It is quite common for Android devices to utilize more
then 8 partitions on internal eMMC storage.
The vanilla kernel can support this via
CONFIG_MMC_BLOCK_MINORS, however that solution caps the
system to 256 minors total, which limits the number of
mmc cards the system can support.
This patch, which has been carried for quite awhile in
the AOSP common tree, provides an alternative solution
that doesn't seem to limit the total card count. So I
wanted to submit it for consideration upstream.
This patch sets the GENHD_FL_EXT_DEVT flag, which will
allocate minor number in major 259 for partitions past
disk->minors.
It also removes the use of disk_devt to determine devidx
from md->disk. md->disk->first_minor is always initialized
from devidx and can always be used to recover it.

If mmc_blk_ioctl returns -EINVAL, blkdev_ioctl continues to
work without returning err to user-space. But now we check
CAP_SYS_RAWIO firstly, so we return -EPERM to blkdev_ioctl,
which make blkdev_ioctl return -EPERM to user-space directly.
So this will break all the ioctl with BLKROSET. Now we find
Android-adb suffer it for the following log:
remount of /system failed;
couldn't make block device writable: Operation not permitted
openat(AT_FDCWD, "/dev/block/platform/ff420000.dwmmc/by-name/system", O_RDONLY) = 3
ioctl(3, BLKROSET, 0) = -1 EPERM (Operation not permitted)

Move the tracepoint creation to core from card, as core shouldn't depend
on card.
Also add EXPORT_SYMBOL_GPL calls to enable module build.

Update SD card removal event processing logic. Instead of pinging
the card to know the card presence rely on card-detect gpio state.
On multi-card tray designs, the same card-tray would be used for SD
card and SIM cards. If SD card is placed at the rightmost location
in the tray, then SIM card may come in contact with SD card power-
supply while removing the tray. It may result in SIM damage.
For protecting SIM from this issue, in multi-card tray designs,
a h/w fix done such that pmic gets a notification of SD card
removal event (through hardwiring) and it turns off the SD card
voltage regulators immediately. All this will be done much before SD
card driver starts processing card removal event.
To support this design, SD card driver shouldn't turn-on the
regulator while processing card removal event. But the present mmc
driver turns-on regulator (multiple times if the card was in suspend
state). To avoid turning on SD card regulator in card removal path,
updating the card removal processing logic is based on card detect
gpio state.

There's no reason to unhalt if switching to CQ mode fails.
Since card is not in CQ mode, let the controller be halted.
The caller will handle this error.

Halt cmdq in multi_cmd_ioctl path before processing IOCTL
commands and un-halt it once it has done with IOCTL processing.
Without this change, the mmc driver would try to process legacy
commands when host & card are in cmdq mode which may result
in unexpected interrupt / illegal command errors.

Due to command queuing, there is a possibility of servicing
completion of multiple requests from hw irq context. So in
this case, hw irq will launch softirq for all requests which
were completed (irrespective of whether it was success or failure).
If one of the requests failed, then the softirq corresponding
to error ed request will set current cmdq state to CMDQ_STATE_ERR.
Because of this, subsequent completion softirqs for successful
requests will BUG_ON.
We should let higher layers know of completion of successful
requests. Hence change the BUG_ON to WARN_ON and skip
blk_end_request() only if the corresponding request has
an error (instead of checking if the cmdq state is in error)

RPMB requests are initiated from TZ and TZ gets blocked from servicing
other tasks/requests till it completes RPMB request. Delays in
servicing RPMB request may result in system-level stability/performance
issues.
Below is the issue observed:
1. TZ rpmb API is called to update TA rollback information. TZ forwards
the request to HLOS mmc driver via rpmb-service.
2. mmc driver services the rpmb requests only after finishing the
outstanding IO requests.
3. As part of handling an IO requests, mmc driver makes ICE call
for getting encryption keys, which in-turn makes call to TZ.
4. Since ICE driver finds TZ is busy/blocked it returns ice request
with -EBUSY error.
5. The failed requests with -EBUSY error would re-queued back.
6. The IO requests keep getting failed and keep getting re-queued
and mmc driver never gets a chance to service rpmb requests.
7. This results in a deadlock senario.
So RPMB requests need to be serviced immediately.
If there is any outstanding RPMB request, then mmc driver should stop
pulling any more new requests. The moment its done with serving
ongoing requests, It should start processing RPMB request.

blk_requeue_request() must be called with queue lock held.
If it is called without this lock then there is a chance that block-
queue would be accessed simultaneously by more than one entity (say,
request completion & re-queue) and both can mess-up the queue
pointers which can result in unexpected results.

In the cmdq request issuing path, cq driver invokes ICE driver calls
to get the configuration for encrypting/decrypting the data requests.
The ice driver in-turn makes calls to secure world (TZ) which can
process only single task at a time. If TZ is busy in servicing
something else when ICE driver invokes it, ICE driver would return
-EBUSY to cmdq driver.
The requests which failed due to ice error are neither issued to h/w
nor errored out, so resulting in filesystem corruptions.
We must re-queue the requests which failed with -EBUSY error, so that
it will be re-issued again as very next request.

If some error occurs in mmc_blk_cmdq_part_switch() function,
the error is not being passed to higher layers to inform the

completed with success. This change returns error to higher
layers in case of any failures in mmc_blk_cmdq_part_switch.

In the IOCTL path, the command queue is halted before servicing
the ioctl requests. Once the ioctl request is serviced, the ioctl
context releases mmc host and then unhalts the controller. This can
cause race conditions where mmc driver would end up in a bad state.
If another context B, which wants to send a legacy command, comes up
between the time ioctl releases the host and unhalts the controller.
Then the context B will see that cmdq is already halted and will prepare
a legacy command. Once context B sends the legacy command, the ioctl
context may unhalt the cmdq. This will mask the legacy interrupts and
context B will never receive interrupts for the command it sent.
To prevent this, unhalt the controller before the ioctl context releases
the host.

mmc_blk_cmdq_part_switch always returned 0 even in case of
failures as errors are not handled in this function.
We need to un-halt cmdq in case it's in halt state when
mmc_switch fails. This change adds error handling code and
returns error in case of any failure.

UHS-I SD cards support SDR104 mode which runs the SD card interface
clock upto 208 MHz. But we may see repeated CRC errors in SDR104
with some SDCC controllers. If this happens, commit <aafc430b36f3>
("mmc: sd: reduce the bus speed in case of multiple CRC errors") would
reinit the card to lower speed (SDR50) hoping that CRC error
rate would reduce at lower clock speed (100MHz for SDR50). As the error
may happen for any cmd, this change tries to fix several other paths -
clock scaling, mmc_rescan, non-data commands error path.

According to specs, some commands require a delay after
issuing the command. idata->ic struct is received from
user in mmc_blk_ioctl_cmd(). So idata->ic.postsleep_min_us,
idata->ic.postsleep_max_us are user controlled. If the min
and max values are set such as max < min, then operation in
the function do_usleep_range will overflow. For avoiding this,
put a condition for checking max < min. If the condition is
true, then print the error message with respective values and
return error.

Add support for completing failed cmdq requests with error.
If any cmdq request is failed, we enter into error recovery path and
re-queue the same request. But in some cases (e.g. requests failed due
to invalid crypto configuration) same request shouldn't be re-queued
but should complete the request with error so that the a new requested
would be issued.
In mmc_blk_cmdq_complete_rq(), for a request if error information is
present and flag which indicates to skip error handling is set
then complete that request with error info.
