During the process of debugging a processor derived from the msm8916 which
we found the new processor was not starting one of its PLLs.
After tracing the addresses and writes that downstream was doing and
comparing to upstream it became obvious that we were writing to a different
register location than downstream when trying to configure the PLL.
This error is also present in upstream msm8916.
As an example clk-pll.c::clk_pll_recalc_rate wants to write to
pll->config_reg updating the bit-field POST_DIV_RATIO. That bit-field is
defined in PLL_USER_CTL not in PLL_CONFIG_CTL. Taking the BIMC PLL as an
example

This pattern is repeated for gpll0, gpll1, gpll2 and bimc_pll.
This error is likely not apparent since the bootloader will already have
initialized these PLLs.
This patch corrects the location of config_reg from PLL_CONFIG_CTL to
PLL_USER_CTL for all relevant PLLs on msm8916.

It turned out that clk_hw_get_parent_by_index() was returning NULL and
we weren't checking. Let's check it so that we don't crash.

Some RCGs (the gfx_3d_src_clk in msm8998 for example) are basically just
some constant ratio from the input across the entire frequency range. It
would be great if we could specify the frequency table as a single entry
constant ratio instead of a long list, ie:
{ .src = P_GPUPLL0_OUT_EVEN, .pre_div = 3 },
{ }
So, lets support that.
We need to fix a corner case in qcom_find_freq() where if the freq table
is non-null, but has no frequencies, we end up returning an "entry" before
the table array, which is bad. Then, we need ignore the freq from the
table, and instead base everything on the requested freq.

Avoid the release of memory for dynamic fps PLL codes. The memory
is part of the continuous splash memory region and will be freed
eventually as part of the splash screen memory cleanup routine.

Add CLK_SET_RATE_NO_REPARENT flag for the software mux clocks in
DSI 14nm PLL driver which is needed for dynamic refresh feature.
Update the dynamic fps structure to align the PLL codes with
vco frequency instead of fps.

For DSI byte clock RCG, check if there is a change in existing
settings before updating RCG configuration. This is needed to
avoid glitch on the display panel when there is a change in the
DSI byte clock frequency with display enabled.

There could be cases where a simultaneous clk_disable and clk_set_rate on
the same rcg could result in a wrong recalc rate. So for shared rcgs
get the pre_div value based on the current frequency from the frequency
table.

Currently the number of maximum bytes to be copied from buffer is
incorrectly using the size of buffer. Replace to use the count
which is the maximum number of bytes to be read.

If the CLK_SET_RATE_PARENT flag for the mmss_mdss_byte_intf_div_clk
divider is set re-calculation of dividers in DSI byte clock path takes
place which causes both the byte clock and byte interface clock to be
set to the same value.

Clock rates are stored in unsigned long field, but round_rate
ops returns a long value which is causing to long overflow if
the CPU clock rate exceeds 2GHz, so define the determine_rate ops.

Add speed-bin 3 to support the fmax of 1.8 GHz and 1.6 GHz
for perf and power clusters respectively.

The user supplied acd offset is not verified to be within the acd register
range which could lead to out-of-bounds read/write. Fix the same by
checking the input and also make sure the acd base is present before the
read/write.

The OSM clock driver currently enables ACD for the silver and
gold clusters regardless of whether they've been brought up or
not. ACD requires the cluster PLLs to be running for initialization,
a requirement which would not be met if the cluster hasn't been
brought online.
Tie the ACD initialization sequence with enabling OSM for that
cluster.

There could be instances where the RCG configuration update or readback
could fail. Notify the caller of the failure. Add support to change
scope of mux_div_get_src_div() in order to use it globally.

Add support for hardware that can switch both parent clocks and divider
at the same time. This avoids generating intermediate frequencies from
either the old parent clock and new divider or new parent clock and
old divider combinations.

If the open-loop voltage of the highest virtual corner is
below the APM threshold voltage, then OSM should keep
the APM powered by VDD_MX. Also, if the open-loop voltage
of the lowest virtual corner is greater than or equal to
the MEM-ACC threshold voltage, then OSM should program
MEM-ACC settings for Turbo for all corners. Program SEQ_REGn
registers correctly for these two cases.

The GPLL0 source to the CPU subsystem requires 300MHz for OSM to use the
clock source. OSM internally cannot set the RCGR divider, so set the RCG to
300MHz at GCC.

Common Clock Framework(CCF) already has a clock ops hook `debug_init` which
could be used for the debugfs clock measure functionality. Remove the APIs
from the CCF and update the 'debug_init' clock ops to the clock types which
require the measure functionality.

The 'measure' functionality is a debug feature which allows the user of
clocks to allow measuring the frequency of a given clock using the ring
oscillator.
Move 'measure' code to a new clk-debug file to support the functionality.

Separate out the aggre2_noc voters so that individual voters could vote on
these clocks and voter clock would aggregate the clock rates before sending
a request to RPM.
