Android passes a lot of arguments via kernel command line.
Current kernel command line is close to limit on a lot of devices.
Increase kernel command line size to avoid cases when arguments
are trimmed.

The asm/opcodes.h file is now gone, but probes.h still references it
for not obvious reason. Removing the #include directive fixes
the compilation.

decode-insn code has to be reused by arm64 uprobe implementation as well.
Therefore, this patch protects some portion of kprobe code and renames few
other, so that decode-insn functionality can be reused by uprobe even when
CONFIG_KPROBES is not defined.
kprobe_opcode_t and struct arch_specific_insn are also defined by
linux/kprobes.h, when CONFIG_KPROBES is not defined. So, protect these
definitions in asm/probes.h.
linux/kprobes.h already includes asm/kprobes.h. Therefore, remove inclusion
of asm/kprobes.h from decode-insn.c.
There are some definitions like kprobe_insn and kprobes_handler_t etc can
be re-used by uprobe. So, it would be better to remove 'k' from their
names.
struct arch_specific_insn is specific to kprobe. Therefore, introduce a new
struct arch_probe_insn which will be common for both kprobe and uprobe, so
that decode-insn code can be shared. Modify kprobe code accordingly.
Function arm_probe_decode_insn() will be needed by uprobe as well. So make
it global.

In assembly, many instances of __emit_inst(x) expand to a directive. In
a few places __emit_inst(x) is used as an assembler macro argument. For
example, in arch/arm64/kvm/hyp/entry.S
ALTERNATIVE(nop, SET_PSTATE_PAN(1), ARM64_HAS_PAN, CONFIG_ARM64_PAN)
expands to the following by the C preprocessor:
alternative_insn nop, .inst (0xd500401f | ((0) << 16 | (4) << 5) | ((!!1) << 8)), 4, 1
Both comma and space are separators, with an exception that content
inside a pair of parentheses/quotes is not split, so the clang
integrated assembler splits the arguments to:
nop, .inst, (0xd500401f | ((0) << 16 | (4) << 5) | ((!!1) << 8)), 4, 1
GNU as preprocesses the input with do_scrub_chars(). Its arm64 backend
(along with many other non-x86 backends) sees:
alternative_insn nop,.inst(0xd500401f|((0)<<16|(4)<<5)|((!!1)<<8)),4,1
# .inst(...) is parsed as one argument
while its x86 backend sees:
alternative_insn nop,.inst (0xd500401f|((0)<<16|(4)<<5)|((!!1)<<8)),4,1
# The extra space before '(' makes the whole .inst (...) parsed as two arguments
The non-x86 backend's behavior is considered unintentional
(https://sourceware.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=25750).
So drop the space separator inside `.inst (...)` to make the clang
integrated assembler work.

The opcodes.h drags in a lot of definition from the 32bit port, most
of which is not required at all. Clean things up a bit by moving
the bare minimum of what is required next to the actual users,
and drop the include file.

The dcache_by_line_op macro suffers from a couple of small problems:
First, the GAS directives that are currently being used rely on
assembler behavior that is not documented, and probably not guaranteed
to produce the correct behavior going forward. As a result, we end up
with some undefined symbols in cache.o:

This is due to the fact that the comparisons used to select the
operation type in the dcache_by_line_op macro are comparing symbols
not strings, and even though it seems that GAS is doing the right
thing here (undefined symbols by the same name are equal to each
other), it seems unwise to rely on this.
Second, when patching in a DC CVAP instruction on CPUs that support it,
the fallback path consists of a DC CVAU instruction which may be
affected by CPU errata that require ARM64_WORKAROUND_CLEAN_CACHE.
Solve these issues by unrolling the various maintenance routines and
using the conditional directives that are documented as operating on
strings. To avoid the complexity of nested alternatives, we move the
DC CVAP patching to __clean_dcache_area_pop, falling back to a branch
to __clean_dcache_area_poc if DCPOP is not supported by the CPU.

When CONFIG_RANDOMIZE_MODULE_REGION_FULL=y, the offset between loaded
modules and the core kernel may exceed 4 GB, putting symbols exported
by the core kernel out of the reach of the ordinary adrp/add instruction
pairs used to generate relative symbol references. So make the adr_l
macro emit a movz/movk sequence instead when executing in module context.
While at it, remove the pointless special case for the stack pointer.

update_saved_ttbr0 mandates that mm->pgd is not swapper, since swapper
contains kernel mappings and should never be installed into ttbr0. However,
this means that callers must avoid passing the init_mm to update_saved_ttbr0
which in turn can cause the saved ttbr0 value to be out-of-date in the context
of the idle thread. For example, EFI runtime services may leave the saved ttbr0
pointing at the EFI page table, and kernel threads may end up with stale
references to freed page tables.
This patch changes update_saved_ttbr0 so that the init_mm points the saved
ttbr0 value to the empty zero page, which always exists and never contains
valid translations. EFI and switch can then call into update_saved_ttbr0
unconditionally.

enter_lazy_tlb is called when a kernel thread rides on the back of
another mm, due to a context switch or an explicit call to unuse_mm
where a call to switch_mm is elided.
In these cases, it's important to keep the saved ttbr value up to date
with the active mm, otherwise we can end up with a stale value which
points to a potentially freed page table.
This patch implements enter_lazy_tlb for arm64, so that the saved ttbr0
is kept up-to-date with the active mm for kernel threads.

do_task_stat() calls get_wchan(), which further does unwind_frame().
unwind_frame() restores frame->pc to original value in case function
graph tracer has modified a return address (LR) in a stack frame to hook
a function return. However, if function graph tracer has hit a filtered
function, then we can't unwind it as ftrace_push_return_trace() has
biased the index(frame->graph) with a 'huge negative'
offset(-FTRACE_NOTRACE_DEPTH).
Moreover, arm64 stack walker defines index(frame->graph) as unsigned
int, which can not compare a -ve number.
Similar problem we can have with calling of walk_stackframe() from
save_stack_trace_tsk() or dump_backtrace().
This patch fixes unwind_frame() to test the index for -ve value and
restore index accordingly before we can restore frame->pc.

While GNU as seems fine with case-sensitive macro instantiations, clang

AArch32 CP1x registers are overlayed on their AArch64 counterparts
in the vcpu struct. This leads to an interesting problem as they
are stored in their CPU-local format, and thus a CP1x register
doesn't "hit" the lower 32bit portion of the AArch64 register on
a BE host.
To workaround this unfortunate situation, introduce a bias trick
in the vcpu_cp1x() accessors which picks the correct half of the
64bit register.

A while back we added {read,write}_sysreg accessors to handle accesses
to system registers, without the usual boilerplate asm volatile,
temporary variable, etc.
This patch makes use of these in the arm64 arch timer accessors to make
the code shorter and clearer.

clock_gettime(CLOCK_BOOTTIME,) slows down after significant
accumulation of suspend time creating a large offset between it and
CLOCK_MONOTONIC time. The __iter_div_u64_rem() is only for the usage
of adding a few second+nanosecond times and saving cycles on more
expensive remainder and division operations, but iterates one second
at a time which quickly goes out of scale in CLOCK_BOOTTIME's case
since it was specified as nanoseconds only.
The fix is to split off seconds from the boot time and cap the
nanoseconds so that __iter_div_u64_rem does not iterate.

If the compat vDSO is enabled, we need to set AT_SYSINFO_EHDR in the
auxiliary vector of compat processes to the address of the vDSO code
page, so that the dynamic linker can find it (just like the regular vDSO).
Note that we cast context.vdso to Elf64_Off, instead of elf_addr_t,
because elf_addr_t is Elf32_Off in compat_binfmt_elf.c, and casting
context.vdso to u32 would trigger a pointer narrowing warning.

This will be needed to provide unwinding information in compat
sigreturn trampolines, part of the future compat vDSO. There is no
obvious header the compat_sig* struct's should be moved to, so let's
put them in signal32.h.

Take an effort to recode the arm64 vdso code from assembler to C
previously submitted by Andrew Pinski <apinski@cavium.com>, rework
it for use in both arm and arm64, overlapping any optimizations
for each architecture. But instead of landing it in arm64, land the
result into lib/vdso and unify both implementations to simplify
future maintenance.
Add a case for CLOCK_BOOTTIME as it is popular for measuring
relative time on systems expected to suspend() or hibernate().
Android uses CLOCK_BOOTTIME for all relative time measurements
and timeouts. Switching to vdso reduced CPU utilization and improves
accuracy. There is also a desire by some partners to switch all
logging over to CLOCK_BOOTTIME, and thus this operation alone would
contribute to a near percentile CPU load.

Take an effort from the previous 9 patches to recode the arm64 vdso
code from assembler to C previously submitted by
Andrew Pinski <apinski@cavium.com>, rework it for use in both arm and
arm64, overlapping any optimizations for each architecture. But
instead of landing it in arm64, land the result into lib/vdso and
unify both implementations to simplify future maintenance.
apinski@cavium.com makes the following claims in the original patch:
This allows the compiler to optimize the divide by 1000 and remove
the other divides.
On ThunderX, gettimeofday improves by 32%. On ThunderX 2,
gettimeofday improves by 18%.
Note I noticed a bug in the old (arm64) implementation of
__kernel_clock_getres; it was checking only the lower 32bits of the
pointer; this would work for most cases but could fail in a few.

AArch32 processes are currently installed a special [vectors] page that
contains the sigreturn trampolines and the kuser helpers, at the fixed
address mandated by the kuser helpers ABI.
Having both functionalities in the same page has become problematic,
because:
* It makes it impossible to disable the kuser helpers (the sigreturn
trampolines cannot be removed), which is possible on arm.
* A future 32-bit vDSO would provide the sigreturn trampolines itself,
making those in [vectors] redundant.
This patch addresses the problem by moving the sigreturn trampolines to
a separate [sigpage] page, mirroring [sigpage] on arm.
Even though [vectors] has always been a misnomer on arm64/compat, as
there is no AArch32 vector there (and now only the kuser helpers),
its name has been left unchanged, for compatibility with arm (there
are reports of software relying on [vectors] being there as the last
mapping in /proc/maps).
mm->context.vdso used to point to the [vectors] page, which is
unnecessary (as its address is fixed). It now points to the [sigpage]
page (whose address is randomized like a vDSO).

Now that we have a clear understanding of the sign of a feature,
rename the routines to reflect the sign, so that it is not misused.
The cpuid_feature_extract_field() now accepts a 'sign' parameter.
This makes sure that the arm64_ftr_value() extracts the feature
field properly for signed fields.

If CTR_EL0.{CWG,ERG} are 0b0000 then they must be interpreted to have
their architecturally maximum values, which defeats the use of
FTR_HIGHER_SAFE when sanitising CPU ID registers on heterogeneous
machines.
Introduce FTR_HIGHER_OR_ZERO_SAFE so that these fields effectively
saturate at zero.

Commit 045afc24124d ("arm64: futex: Fix FUTEX_WAKE_OP atomic ops with
non-zero result value") removed oldval's zero initialization in
arch_futex_atomic_op_inuser because it is not necessary. Unfortunately,
Android's arm64 GCC 4.9.4 [1] does not agree:

Rather embarrassingly, our futex() FUTEX_WAKE_OP implementation doesn't
explicitly set the return value on the non-faulting path and instead
leaves it holding the result of the underlying atomic operation. This
means that any FUTEX_WAKE_OP atomic operation which computes a non-zero
value will be reported as having failed. Regrettably, I wrote the buggy
code back in 2011 and it was upstreamed as part of the initial arm64
support in 2012.
The reasons we appear to get away with this are:
1. FUTEX_WAKE_OP is rarely used and therefore doesn't appear to get
exercised by futex() test applications
2. If the result of the atomic operation is zero, the system call
behaves correctly
3. Prior to version 2.25, the only operation used by GLIBC set the
futex to zero, and therefore worked as expected. From 2.25 onwards,
FUTEX_WAKE_OP is not used by GLIBC at all.
Fix the implementation by ensuring that the return value is either 0
to indicate that the atomic operation completed successfully, or -EFAULT
if we encountered a fault when accessing the user mapping.

ARM glibc uses (4 * __getpagesize()) for SHMLBA, which is correct for
4KB pages and works fine for 64KB pages, but the kernel uses a hardcoded
16KB that is too small for 64KB page based kernels. This changes the
definition to what user space sees when using 64KB pages.
