From 4547c0f93518197834f7fc11c6558b566b7e14c8 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Guenter Roeck Date: Wed, 31 Aug 2016 09:52:16 -0700 Subject: ANDROID: rcu_sync: Export rcu_sync_lockdep_assert x86_64:allmodconfig fails to build with the following error. ERROR: "rcu_sync_lockdep_assert" [kernel/locking/locktorture.ko] undefined! Introduced by commit 3228c5eb7af2 ("RFC: FROMLIST: locking/percpu-rwsem: Optimize readers and reduce global impact"). The applied upstream version exports the missing symbol, so let's do the same. When a cpu is offlined, it will be removed from the cpuset/cpus file. When a cpu is onlined, if the cpuset originally requested that that cpu was part of the cpuset, that cpu will be restored to the cpuset. The cpus files still have to be hierachical, but the ranges no longer have to be out of the currently online cpus, just the physically present cpus.
