Combine all definitions into a common tools/include/linux/types.h and
kill the wild growth elsewhere. Move DECLARE_BITMAP to its proper
bitmap.h header.

So tools/ has been growing three, at a different stage of their
development export.h headers and so we should unite into one. Add
tools/include/ to the include path of virtio and liblockdep to pick the
shared header now.

The array debugfs_known_mountpoints[] will cause extra '/'
character output.

Commit 12e55569a244 "tools lib traceevent: Use helper trace-seq in print
functions like kernel does" added a extra trace_seq helper to process
string arguments like the kernel does it. But the difference between the
kernel and the userspace library is that the kernel's trace_seq structure
has a static allocated buffer. The userspace one has a dynamically
allocated one. It requires a trace_seq_destroy(), otherwise it produces
a nasty memory leak.

The return value for pevent_filter_match() is suppose to return FILTER_NONE
if the event doesn't have a filter, and FILTER_NOEXIST if there is no filter
at all. But the change 41e12e580a7 "tools lib traceevent: Refactor
pevent_filter_match() to get rid of die()" replaced the return value
with PEVENT_ERRNO__* values and added "backward compatibility" macros
that used the old names. Unfortunately, the NOEXIST and NONE macros were
swapped, and this broke users that use the old return names.

The patch 3a3ffa2e82205 ("tools lib traceevent: Report better error
message on bad function args") added the error message but it seems
there's no reason to call warning() directly.
So change it to do_warning_event() to provide event information too.

It's sometimes useful to know where the parse failure was occurred. Add
do_warning_event() macro to see the failing event.
It now shows the messages like below:

Commit 63f9a7fde7 "asmlinkage: Make lockdep_sys_exit asmlinkage" has added
asmlinkage annotation to lockdep_sys_exit, which broke build of liblockdep.

If BUILD_SRC or CURDIR contains tailing '/', the file names passed to gcc will
contain '//'. It will be contained .o's in debuginfo, then confuse debugedit:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=304121
This patch uses realpath command to makesure potential tailing '/'s are removed.

All of the programs in the tests directory require the
liblockdep/mutex.h header in order to compile. Add the include directory
to the compiler options so that the tests can be built with the provided
Makefile.

The plugindir_SQ definition contains $(prefix) which is not needed as
the $(libdir) definition already contains prefix in it. This leads to
the path including an extra prefix in it, e.g. /usr/usr/lib64.
The -DPLUGIN_DIR defintion includes DESTDIR. This is incorrect, as it
sets the plugin search path to include the value of DESTDIR. DESTDIR is
a mechanism to install in a non-standard location such as a chroot or an
RPM build root. In the RPM case, this leads to the search path being
incorrect after the resulting RPM is installed (or in some cases an RPM
build failure).
Remove both of these unnecessary inclusions.

If realloc() fails, it'll leak the buffer. Also increate buffer size
only if the allocation succeeded.

Getting rid of following build output:
$ make O=/tmp/build/perf -C tools/perf/ install-bin
...
make[3]: Nothing to be done for `plugins'.
make[2]: Nothing to be done for `plugins'.
...
which triggers when traceevent library needs to be rebuilt, but we have
plugins built already.
Adding extra 'plugins' target with nop which is visible and triggers in
both Makefile parts (for detached output directory (O=...) the
traceevent Makefile spawns sub make for the build itself).

The tabbed indentation in non-commands statements could be sometimes
considered as follow up for the rule command in the Makefile.
This error is hard to find, so as a precaution replacing tabs with
spaces for all non-commands statements.

Using global QUIET_LINK build output variable and getting rid of local
print_static_lib_build, print_plugin_build and print_shared_lib_compile.
We no longer distinguish between shared and static library in the build
message. It's differenced by the built file suffix, like:
$ make
...
LINK libtraceevent.a
LINK libtraceevent.so

The pevent_filter_strerror() function is for receiving actual error
message from pevent_errno value. To do that, add a static buffer to
event_filter for saving internal error message
If a failed function saved other information in the static buffer
returns the information, otherwise returns generic error message.

Those functions stringify filter arguments.
As caller of those functions handles NULL string properly, it seems that
it's enough to return NULL rather than calling die().

Move debugfs.* to api/fs/. We have a common tools/lib/api/ place where
the Makefile lives and then we place the headers in subdirs.
For example, all the fs-related stuff goes to tools/lib/api/fs/ from
which we get libapikfs.a (acme got almost the naming he wanted :-)) and
we link it into the tools which need it - in this case perf and
tools/vm/page-types.
acme:
"Looking at the implementation, I think some tools can even link
directly to the .o files, avoiding the .a file altogether.
But that is just an optimization/finer granularity tools/lib/
cherrypicking that toolers can make use of."
Fixup documentation cleaning target while at it.
