In the (very) small print of the REPORT_CURRENT_LATENCY message there is a
line that says that the last byte of the message (audio out delay) is only
present if the 'audio out compensated' value is 3.
I missed this, and so if this message was sent with a total length of 6 (i.e.
without the audio out delay byte), then it was rejected by the framework
since a minimum length of 7 was expected.
Fix this minimum length check and update the wrappers in cec-funcs.h to do
the right thing based on the message length.

Andrey's syzkaller program passes rtmsg.rtmsg_flags with the RTF_PCPU bit
set. Flags passed to the kernel are blindly copied to the allocated
rt6_info by ip6_route_info_create making a newly inserted route appear
as though it is a per-cpu route. ip6_rt_cache_alloc sees the flag set
and expects rt->dst.from to be set - which it is not since it is not
really a per-cpu copy. The subsequent call to __ip6_dst_alloc then
generates the fault.
Fix by checking for the flag and failing with EINVAL.

In certain scenarios, modem shutdown requests are handled in
userspace. Enhance request engine of esoc driver to send
shutdown requests to userspace.
Also, during a shutdown, avoid setting status to 0, if line is
not a power source. There can be multiple mdms monitoring status
line. This can otherwise be misinterpreted as an unexpected reset
by other mdms.

Auto_boot esoc devices can boot and crash before
esoc driver comes up. But there is no way for the
user space code to know that it has crashed by looking
at status line alone. Hence, create a new ioctl entry
to export status of err_fatal line to user space.

Enhance nl80211 and cfg80211 connect request and response APIs to
support FILS shared key authentication offload. The new nl80211
attributes can be used to provide additional information to the driver
to establish a FILS connection. Also enhance the set/del PMKSA to allow
support for adding and deleting PMKSA based on FILS cache identifier.
Add a new feature flag that drivers can use to advertize support for
FILS shared key authentication and association in station mode when
using their own SME.

This commit adds a new sysctl accept_ra_rt_info_min_plen that
defines the minimum acceptable prefix length of Route Information
Options. The new sysctl is intended to be used together with
accept_ra_rt_info_max_plen to configure a range of acceptable
prefix lengths. It is useful to prevent misconfigurations from
unintentionally blackholing too much of the IPv6 address space
(e.g., home routers announcing RIOs for fc00::/7, which is
incorrect).

[ Upstream commit 745cb7f8a5de0805cade3de3991b7a95317c7c73 ]
Replace MAX_ADDR_LEN with its numeric value to fix the following
linux/packet_diag.h userspace compilation error:
/usr/include/linux/packet_diag.h:67:17: error: 'MAX_ADDR_LEN' undeclared here (not in a function)
__u8 pdmc_addr[MAX_ADDR_LEN];
This is not the first case in the UAPI where the numeric value
of MAX_ADDR_LEN is used instead of symbolic one, uapi/linux/if_link.h
already does the same:
$ grep MAX_ADDR_LEN include/uapi/linux/if_link.h
__u8 mac[32]; /* MAX_ADDR_LEN */
There are no UAPI headers besides these two that use MAX_ADDR_LEN.

commit d1b4c689d4130bcfd3532680b64db562300716b6 upstream.
mmapped netlink has a number of unresolved issues:
- TX zerocopy support had to be disabled more than a year ago via
commit 4682a0358639b29cf ("netlink: Always copy on mmap TX.")
because the content of the mmapped area can change after netlink
attribute validation but before message processing.
- RX support was implemented mainly to speed up nfqueue dumping packet
payload to userspace. However, since commit ae08ce0021087a5d812d2
("netfilter: nfnetlink_queue: zero copy support") we avoid one copy
with the socket-based interface too (via the skb_zerocopy helper).
The other problem is that skbs attached to mmaped netlink socket
behave different from normal skbs:
- they don't have a shinfo area, so all functions that use skb_shinfo()
(e.g. skb_clone) cannot be used.
- reserving headroom prevents userspace from seeing the content as
it expects message to start at skb->head.
See for instance
commit aa3a022094fa ("netlink: not trim skb for mmaped socket when dump").
- skbs handed e.g. to netlink_ack must have non-NULL skb->sk, else we
crash because it needs the sk to check if a tx ring is attached.
Also not obvious, leads to non-intuitive bug fixes such as 7c7bdf359
("netfilter: nfnetlink: use original skbuff when acking batches").
mmaped netlink also didn't play nicely with the skb_zerocopy helper
used by nfqueue and openvswitch. Daniel Borkmann fixed this via
commit 6bb0fef489f6 ("netlink, mmap: fix edge-case leakages in nf queue
zero-copy")' but at the cost of also needing to provide remaining
length to the allocation function.
nfqueue also has problems when used with mmaped rx netlink:
- mmaped netlink doesn't allow use of nfqueue batch verdict messages.
Problem is that in the mmap case, the allocation time also determines
the ordering in which the frame will be seen by userspace (A
allocating before B means that A is located in earlier ring slot,
but this also means that B might get a lower sequence number then A
since seqno is decided later. To fix this we would need to extend the
spinlocked region to also cover the allocation and message setup which
isn't desirable.
- nfqueue can now be configured to queue large (GSO) skbs to userspace.
Queing GSO packets is faster than having to force a software segmentation
in the kernel, so this is a desirable option. However, with a mmap based
ring one has to use 64kb per ring slot element, else mmap has to fall back
to the socket path (NL_MMAP_STATUS_COPY) for all large packets.
To use the mmap interface, userspace not only has to probe for mmap netlink
support, it also has to implement a recv/socket receive path in order to
handle messages that exceed the size of an rx ring element.

binder_fd_array_object starts with a 4-byte header,
followed by a few fields that are 8 bytes when
ANDROID_BINDER_IPC_32BIT=N.
This can cause alignment issues in a 64-bit kernel
with a 32-bit userspace, as on x86_32 an 8-byte primitive
may be aligned to a 4-byte address. Pad with a __u32
to fix this.

We only support breakpoint/watchpoint of length 1, 2, 4 and 8. If we can
support other length as well, then user may watch more data with less
number of watchpoints (provided hardware supports it). For example: if we
have to watch only 4th, 5th and 6th byte from a 64 bit aligned address, we
will have to use two slots to implement it currently. One slot will watch a
half word at offset 4 and other a byte at offset 6. If we can have a
watchpoint of length 3 then we can watch it with single slot as well.
ARM64 hardware does support such functionality, therefore adding these new
definitions in generic layer.

This should not be the case. As it is entirely

This patch introduces a new binder_fd_array object,
that allows us to support one or more file descriptors

Previously all data passed over binder needed
to be serialized, with the exception of Binder
objects and file descriptors.
This patchs adds support for scatter-gathering raw
memory buffers into a binder transaction, avoiding
the need to first serialize them into a Parcel.
To remain backwards compatibile with existing
binder clients, it introduces two new command
ioctls for this purpose - BC_TRANSACTION_SG and
BC_REPLY_SG. These commands may only be used with
the new binder_transaction_data_sg structure,
which adds a field for the total size of the
buffers we are scatter-gathering.
Because memory buffers may contain pointers to
other buffers, we allow callers to specify
a parent buffer and an offset into it, to indicate
this is a location pointing to the buffer that
we are fixing up. The kernel will then take care
of fixing up the pointer to that buffer as well.

flat_binder_object is used for both handling
binder objects and file descriptors, even though
the two are mostly independent. Since we'll
have more fixup objects in binder in the future,
instead of extending flat_binder_object again,
split out file descriptors to their own object
while retaining backwards compatibility to
existing user-space clients. All binder objects
just share a header.

This adds the capability for a process that has CAP_NET_ADMIN on
a socket to see the socket mark in socket dumps.
Commit a52e95abf772 ("net: diag: allow socket bytecode filters to
match socket marks") recently gave privileged processes the
ability to filter socket dumps based on mark. This patch is
complementary: it ensures that the mark is also passed to
userspace in the socket's netlink attributes. It is useful for
tools like ss which display information about sockets.

This allows a privileged process to filter by socket mark when
dumping sockets via INET_DIAG_BY_FAMILY. This is useful on
systems that use mark-based routing such as Android.
The ability to filter socket marks requires CAP_NET_ADMIN, which
is consistent with other privileged operations allowed by the
SOCK_DIAG interface such as the ability to destroy sockets and
the ability to inspect BPF filters attached to packet sockets.
