Add predicate functions for having arch_get_random[_seed]*(). The
only current use is to avoid the loop in arch_random_refill() when
arch_get_random_seed_long() is unavailable.

Upcoming Intel silicon adds a new RDSEED instruction, which is similar
to RDRAND but provides a stronger guarantee: unlike RDRAND, RDSEED
will always reseed the PRNG from the true random number source between
each read. Thus, the output of RDSEED is guaranteed to be 100%
entropic, unlike RDRAND which is only architecturally guaranteed to be
1/512 entropic (although in practice is much more.)
The RDSEED instruction takes the same time to execute as RDRAND, but
RDSEED unlike RDRAND can legitimately return failure (CF=0) due to
entropy exhaustion if too many threads on too many cores are hammering
the RDSEED instruction at the same time. Therefore, we have to be
more conservative and only use it in places where we can tolerate
failures.
This patch introduces the primitives arch_get_random_seed_{int,long}()
but does not use it yet.

Pull xfs update from Dave Chinner:
"There are a couple of new fallocate features in this request - it was
decided that it was easiest to push them through the XFS tree using
topic branches and have the ext4 support be based on those branches.
Hence you may see some overlap with the ext4 tree merge depending on
how they including those topic branches into their tree. Other than
that, there is O_TMPFILE support, some cleanups and bug fixes.
The main changes in the XFS tree for 3.15-rc1 are:

Some filesystems can handle direct I/O writes beyond i_size safely,
so allow them to opt into receiving them.

Use cmpxchg() to atomically set i_flags instead of clearing out the
S_IMMUTABLE, S_APPEND, etc. flags and then setting them from the
EXT4_IMMUTABLE_FL, EXT4_APPEND_FL flags, since this opens up a race
where an immutable file has the immutable flag cleared for a brief
window of time.

This patch changes each mb_cache's both block and index hash chains to
use a hlist_bl_node, which contains a built-in lock. This is the
first step in decoupling of locks serializing accesses to mb_cache
global data and each mb_cache_entry local data.

As Trond pointed out, you can currently deadlock yourself by setting a
file-private lock on a file that requires mandatory locking and then
trying to do I/O on it.
Avoid this problem by plumbing some knowledge of file-private locks into
the mandatory locking code. In order to do this, we must pass down
information about the struct file that's being used to
locks_verify_locked.

In a later patch, we'll be adding a new type of lock that's owned by
the struct file instead of the files_struct. Those sorts of locks
will be flagged with a new FL_FILE_PVT flag.
Report these types of locks as "FLPVT" in /proc/locks to distinguish
them from "classic" POSIX locks.

This function currently removes leases in addition to flock locks and in
a later patch we'll have it deal with file-private locks too. Rename it
to locks_remove_file to indicate that it removes locks that are
associated with a particular struct file, and not just flock locks.

As Al Viro points out, there is an unlikely, but possible race between
opening a file and setting a lease on it. generic_add_lease is done with
the i_lock held, but the inode->i_flock check in break_lease is
lockless. It's possible for another task doing an open to do the entire
pathwalk and call break_lease between the point where generic_add_lease
checks for a conflicting open and adds the lease to the list. If this
occurs, we can end up with a lease set on the file with a conflicting
open.
To guard against that, check again for a conflicting open after adding
the lease to the i_flock list. If the above race occurs, then we can
simply unwind the lease setting and return -EAGAIN.
Because we take dentry references and acquire write access on the file
before calling break_lease, we know that if the i_flock list is empty
when the open caller goes to check it then the necessary refcounts have
already been incremented. Thus the additional check for a conflicting
open will see that there is one and the setlease call will fail.

Pull renameat2 system call from Miklos Szeredi:
"This adds a new syscall, renameat2(), which is the same as renameat()
but with a flags argument.
The purpose of extending rename is to add cross-rename, a symmetric
variant of rename, which exchanges the two files. This allows
interesting things, which were not possible before, for example
atomically replacing a directory tree with a symlink, etc... This
also allows overlayfs and friends to operate on whiteouts atomically.
Andy Lutomirski also suggested a "noreplace" flag, which disables the
overwriting behavior of rename.
These two flags, RENAME_EXCHANGE and RENAME_NOREPLACE are only
implemented for ext4 as an example and for testing"

Commit 436d42c61c3e ("ARM: samsung: move platform_data definitions")
moved the files to the current location but forgot to remove the pointer
to its previous location. Clean it up. While at it also change the header

uinput is used in the xorg-integration-tests suite and in the wayland
test suite. These automated tests suites create many virtual input
devices and then hook something to read these newly created devices.
Currently, uinput does not provide the created input device, which means
that we rely on an heuristic to guess which input node was created.
The problem is that is heuristic is subjected to races between different
uinput devices or even with physical devices. Having a way to retrieve
the sysfs path allows us to find without any doubts the event node.

This commit takes care of the generated signature error CQE generated
by the HW (if happened). The underlying mlx5 driver will handle
signature error completions and will mark the relevant memory region
as dirty.
Once the consumer gets the completion for the transaction, it must
check for signature errors on signature memory region using a new
lightweight verb ib_check_mr_status().
In case the user doesn't check for signature error (i.e. doesn't call
ib_check_mr_status() with status check IB_MR_CHECK_SIG_STATUS), the
memory region cannot be used for another signature operation
(REG_SIG_MR work request will fail).

This patch implements IB_WR_REG_SIG_MR posted by the user.
Baisically this WR involves 3 WQEs in order to prepare and properly
register the signature layout:
1. post UMR WR to register the sig_mr in one of two possible ways:
* In case the user registered a single MR for data so the UMR data segment
consists of:
- single klm (data MR) passed by the user
- BSF with signature attributes requested by the user.
* In case the user registered 2 MRs, one for data and one for protection,
the UMR consists of:
- strided block format which includes data and protection MRs and
their repetitive block format.
- BSF with signature attributes requested by the user.
2. post SET_PSV in order to set the memory domain initial
signature parameters passed by the user.
SET_PSV is not signaled and solicited CQE.
3. post SET_PSV in order to set the wire domain initial
signature parameters passed by the user.
SET_PSV is not signaled and solicited CQE.
* After this compound WR we place a small fence for next WR to come.
This patch also introduces some helper functions to set the BSF correctly
and determining the signature format selectors.

This will be useful when processing signature errors on a specific

If user requested signature enable we initialize relevant mlx5_ib_qp
members. We mark the qp as sig_enable and we increase the effective
SQ size, but still limit the user max_send_wr to original size
computed. We also allow the create_qp routine to accept sig_enable
create flag.

Support create_mr and destroy_mr verbs. Creating ib_mr may be done
for either ib_mr that will register regular page lists like
alloc_fast_reg_mr routine, or indirect ib_mrs that can register other
(pre-registered) ib_mrs in an indirect manner.
In addition user may request signature enable, that will mean that the
created ib_mr may be attached with signature attributes (BSF, PSVs).
Currently we only allow direct/indirect registration modes.

Pull bulk of gpio updates from Linus Walleij:
"A pretty big chunk of changes this time, but it has all been on
rotation in linux-next and had some testing. Of course there will be
some amount of fixes on top...
- Merged in a branch of irqchip changes from Thomas Gleixner: we need
to have new callbacks from the irqchip to determine if the GPIO
line will be eligible for IRQs, and this callback must be able to
say "no". After some thinking I got the branch from tglx and have
switched all current users over to use this.
- Based on tglx patches, we have added some generic irqchip helpers
in the gpiolib core. These will help centralize code when GPIO
drivers have simple chained/cascaded IRQs. Drivers will still
define their irqchip vtables, but the gpiolib core will take care
of irqdomain set-up, mapping from local offsets to Linux irqs, and
reserve resources by marking the GPIO lines for IRQs.
- Initially the PL061 and Nomadik GPIO/pin control drivers have been
switched over to use the new gpiochip-to-irqchip infrastructure
with more drivers expected for the next kernel cycle. The
factoring of just two drivers still makes it worth it so it is
already a win.
- A new driver for the Synopsys DesignWare APB GPIO block.
- Modify the DaVinci GPIO driver to be reusable also for the new TI
Keystone architecture.
- A new driver for the LSI ZEVIO SoCs.
- Delete the obsolte tnetv107x driver.
- Some incremental work on GPIO descriptors: have
gpiod_direction_output() use a logical level, respecting assertion
polarity through ACTIVE_LOW flags, adding gpiod_direction_output_raw()
for the case where you want to set that very value. Add
gpiochip_get_desc() to fetch a GPIO descriptor from a specific
offset on a certain chip inside driver code.

When using the irqchip helper inside the gpiolib, make sure
the IRQs are unmapped/disposed before the irqdomain is removed
as part of removing the gpiochip.

This provides a function gpiochip_irqchip_add() to set
up an irqchip for a GPIO controller, and a function
gpiochip_set_chained_irqchip() to chain it to a parent
irqchip.
Most GPIOs are of the type where a number of lines form
a cascaded interrupt controller chained onto
the primary system interrupt controller (or further down the
chain) so let's add this helper and factor the code to
request the lines to be used as IRQs, the .to_irq() function
and the irqdomain into the core as well.

Some drivers dealing with a gpio_chip might need to act on its
descriptors directly; one example is pinctrl drivers that need to lock a
GPIO for being used as IRQ using gpiod_lock_as_irq().
This patch exports a gpiochip_get_desc() function that returns the
GPIO descriptor at the requested index. It also sweeps the
gpio_to_chip() function out of the consumer interface since any holder
of a gpio_chip reference can manipulate its GPIOs way beyond what a
consumer should be allowed to do.
As a result, gpio_chip is not visible anymore to simple GPIO consumers.

The documentation was not clear about whether
gpio_direction_output should take a logical value or the physical
level on the output line, i.e. whether the ACTIVE_LOW status
would be taken into account.
This converts gpiod_direction_output to use the logical level
and adds a new gpiod_direction_output_raw for the raw value.

Add code to check sizes of on-disk data of metadata files such as inode
size, segment usage size, DAT entry size, and checkpoint size. Although
these sizes are read from disk, the current implementation doesn't check
them.
If these sizes are not sane on disk, it can cause out-of-range access to
metadata or memory access overrun on metadata block buffers due to
overflow in sundry calculations.
Both lower limit and upper limit of metadata sizes are verified to
prevent these issues.

With this ioctl the segment usage entries in the SUFILE can be updated
from userspace.
This is useful, because it allows the userspace GC to modify and update
segment usage entries for specific segments, which enables it to avoid
unnecessary write operations.
If a segment needs to be cleaned, but there is no or very little
reclaimable space in it, the cleaning operation basically degrades to a
useless moving operation. In the end the only thing that changes is the
location of the data and a timestamp in the segment usage information.
With this ioctl the GC can skip the cleaning and update the segment
usage entries directly instead.
This is basically a shortcut to cleaning the segment. It is still
necessary to read the segment summary information, but the writing of
the live blocks can be skipped if it's not worth it.

Add support for describing the PM8921/PM8058 RTC in device tree.
Additionally:
- drop support for describing the RTC using platform data,
as there are no current in tree users who do so.
- make allow_set_time a device-specific flag, instead of mucking
with the rtc_ops

Include appropriate header file include/linux/decompress/inflate.h in
lib/decompress_inflate.c because it has prototype declaration of
function defined in lib/decompress_inflate.c.
Also, fix the guard around the header file
include/linux/decompress/inflate.h to use a more unique guard symbol.
This avoids conflict with the INFLATE_H defined by
zlib_inflate/inflate.h.
This eliminates the following warning in lib/decompress_inflate.c:
lib/decompress_inflate.c:35:17: warning: no previous prototype for `gunzip' [-Wmissing-prototypes]

We don't have to update the state and fb_blank properties of a backlight
device every time a blanking or unblanking event comes because they may
have already been what we want. Another thought is that one backlight
device may be shared by multiple framebuffers. The backlight driver
should take the backlight device as a resource shared by all the
associated framebuffers.
This patch adds some logic to record each framebuffer's backlight usage
to determine the backlight device use count and whether the two
properties should be updated or not. To be more specific, only one
unblank operation on a certain blanked framebuffer may increase the
backlight device's use count by one, while one blank operation on a
certain unblanked framebuffer may decrease the use count by one, because
the userspace is likely to unblank an unblanked framebuffer or blank a
blanked framebuffer.
