The 'custom' timings are no longer just for custom timings, but also for standard
CEA/VESA timings. So rename to V4L2_IN/OUT_CAP_DV_TIMINGS.
The old define is still kept for backwards compatibility.
This decision was taken during the 2012 Media Workshop.

This buffer type isn't used at all, and since it is effectively undefined
what it should do it is deprecated. The define still exists, but any
internal support for such buffers is removed.
The decisions to deprecate this was taken during the 2012 Media Workshop.

During the 2012 Media Workshop it was decided to split off the control
definitions into their own v4l2-controls.h header, included by videodev2.h.
Because controls make up such a large part of V4L2 they made it hard
to read videodev2.h. Splitting off the control definitions makes life
easier.

Unify multistream support at the DVBAPI: several delivery systems
allow it. Yet, each one had its own name. So, instead of adding
a third version of this field, remove the per-standard naming,
unifying it into a common name.
The legacy code number can still be used by old applications.
Version increased to 5.8.

These new controls and two new ioctls make it possible to properly support
VGA, DVI-A/D/I, HDMI and DisplayPort connectors. All these controls and the
ioctls are all at the sub-device level. They are meant for V4L2 bridge/platform
drivers or to be accessed on embedded systems through /dev/v4l-subdev* device
nodes.

No functional changes. It just improves the description of the frontend
status, using Documentation/kernel-doc-nano-HOWTO.txt for the status
enumeration, and a table inside the DocBook.

After thinking twice, I ended up adding own value for AUTO
interleaving instead of using NONE.
API minor number is not needed to increase as that patch should
be the same Kernel as interleaving parameter is initially added.

Rearrange the CFA interpolation coefficients table based on the Bayer
pattern. Support for non-Bayer CFA patterns is dropped as they were not
correctly supported, and have never been tested.

With this patch we no longer reuse function tracer infrastructure, now
we register our own tracer back-end via a debugfs knob.
It's a bit more code, but that is the only downside. On the bright side we
have:
- Ability to make persistent_ram module removable (when needed, we can
move ftrace_ops struct into a module). Note that persistent_ram is still
not removable for other reasons, but with this patch it's just one
thing less to worry about;
- Pstore part is more isolated from the generic function tracer. We tried
it already by registering our own tracer in available_tracers, but that
way we're loosing ability to see the traces while we record them to
pstore. This solution is somewhere in the middle: we only register
"internal ftracer" back-end, but not the "front-end";
- When there is only pstore tracing enabled, the kernel will only write
to the pstore buffer, omitting function tracer buffer (which, of course,
still can be enabled via 'echo function > current_tracer').

commit 0848c94fb4 ("mfd: core: Push irqdomain mapping out into devices")
that appeared in v3.6-rc6 adds another argument to the mfd_add_devices()
call, and that makes commit a830d28b48bf ("power_supply: Enable
battery-charger for 88pm860x", which is battery tree) no longer compatible
with the latest kernels.
This commit is used to merge upstream back into battery tree and
accommodate 88pm860x driver for the latest changes in MFD core.

This patch add support sysfs entry for each charger(regulator).
Charger-manager use one or more chargers for charging battery but some
charger isn't necessary on specific scenario. So, if some charger isn't
needed, can disable specific charger through 'externally_control' entry
while system is on state and confirm the information(name, state) of
charger.
The list of added sysfs entry
- /sys/class/power_supply/battery/chargers/charger.[index]/name
show name of charger(regulator)
- /sys/class/power_supply/battery/chargers/charger.[index]/state
show either enabled or disabled state of charger
- /sys/class/power_supply/battery/chargers/charger.[index]/externally_control
If 'externally_control' of specific charger is 1, Charger-manager cannot
enable regulator for charging when charger cable is attached and charger
must be maintained with disabled state. If 'externally_control' is zero,
Charger-manager usually can control to enable/disable regulator.

This patch check maximum possible duration of charging/discharging.
If whole charging duration exceed 'desc->charging_max_duration_ms', cm
stop charging to prevent overcharge/overheat. And if discharging duration
exceed, charger cable is attached, after full-batt, cm start charging to
maintain fully charged state for battery.

This patch check periodically fully charged state of battery to protect
overcharge and overheat. If battery is fully charged, stop charging and
check droped voltage with 'fullbatt_vchkdrop_ms' period. When voltage of
battery is more droped than 'fullbatt_vchkdrop_uV' voltage,
charger-manager will restart charging for battery.

Debounce time is configurable in the platform side. If it is not defined,
the default value is 270ms.
Platform data is msec unit, and this time is converted to jiffies
internally. The workqueue uses this jiffies time in the interrupt
handling. So debounce_jiffies is added in the private data.

LP8727 platform data is optional, so the driver should work even the
platform data is NULL.
To check the platform data, charging parameter data should be changed to
the pointer type.
Fix NULL point access problem when getting the battery properties. When
the data is NULL, just return as invalid value.

There are charger and battery measurement feature for 88pm860x PMIC.
For charger, it can support pre-charge with small current when battery is
nearly exausted and then changed into fast-charge with CC&CV mode.
For battery monitor, it can support battery measurement such as
vbat,vsys,vchg and ibat etc,it can aslo accumulating the Coulomb value
charged or discharged from battery based on Conlomb Counter, we use it
to estimate battery capacity.

There are different types of chargers avalibale like AC, Solar, USB,
etc.. Even in USB we have different types SDP/DCP/CDP/ACA and all these
chargers have different o/p ratings. For example SDP supports only 500mA
of charge current whereas AC charger can support upto 8A or more.
Similarly batteries also come with charge current and voltage ratings
and these ratings vary depending on its capacity and the technology
used.
This patch adds two new power supply properties
CONSTANT_CHARGE_CURRENT_MAX and CONSTANT_CHARGE_CURRENT_MAX.

Pull UAPI disintegration fixes from David Howells:
"There are three main parts:
(1) I found I needed some more fixups in the wake of testing Arm64
(some asm/unistd.h files had weird guards that caused problems -
mostly in arches for which I don't have a compiler) and some
__KERNEL__ splitting needed to take place in Arm64.
(2) I found that c6x was missing some __KERNEL__ guards in its
asm/signal.h. Mark Salter pointed me at a tree with a patch to
remove that file entirely and use the asm-generic variant instead.
(3) Lastly, m68k turned out to have a header installation problem due
to it lacking a kvm_para.h file.
The conditional installation bits for linux/kvm_para.h, linux/kvm.h
and linux/a.out.h weren't very well specified - and didn't work if
an arch didn't have the asm/ version of that file, but there *was*
an asm-generic/ version.
It seems the "ifneq $((wildcard ...),)" for each of those three
headers in include/kernel/Kbuild is invoked twice during header
installation, and the second time it matches on the just installed
asm-generic/kvm_para.h file and thus incorrectly installs
linux/kvm_para.h as well.
Most arches actually have an asm/kvm_para.h, so this wasn't
detectable in those."

The m68k arch doesn't have a kvm_para.h (unlike most or maybe all other
arches), but there is one in asm-generic. This means that:

There are three headers with this sort of conditional logic: a.out.h, kvm.h
and kvm_para.h. For all three of them, change the logic to be something like:

Currently slob falls back to regular kmalloc for this case.
With this patch kmalloc_track_caller() is correctly implemented,
thus tracing the specified caller.
This is important to trace accurately allocations performed by
krealloc, kstrdup, kmemdup, etc.

Add discard support to nbd. If the nbd-server supports discard, it will
send NBD_FLAG_SEND_TRIM to the client. The client will then set the flag
in the kernel via NBD_SET_FLAGS, which tells the kernel to enable discards
for the device (QUEUE_FLAG_DISCARD).
If discard support is enabled, then when the nbd client system receives a
discard request, this will be passed along to the nbd-server. When the
discard request is received by the nbd-server, it will perform:
fallocate(.. FALLOC_FL_PUNCH_HOLE ..)
To punch a hole in the backend storage, which is no longer needed.

Add a set-flags ioctl, allowing various option flags to be set on an nbd
device. This allows the nbd-client to set the device flags (to enable
read-only mode, or enable discard support, etc.).
Flags are typically specified by the nbd-server. During the negotiation
phase of the nbd connection, the server sends its flags to the client.
The client then uses NBD_SET_FLAGS to inform the kernel of the options.
Also included is a one-line fix to debug output for the set-timeout ioctl.

Replace the single global destination ID counter with per-net allocation
mechanism to allow independent destID management for each available
RapidIO network. Using bitmap based mechanism instead of counters allows
destination ID release and reuse in systems that support hot-swap.

Modify handling of device lists to resolve issues caused by using single
global list of RIO devices during enumeration/discovery. The most common
sign of existing issue is incorrect contents of switch routing tables in
systems with multiple mport controllers while single-port configuration
performs as expected.

Add common inbound memory mapping/unmapping interface. This allows to make
local memory space accessible from the RapidIO side using hardware mapping
capabilities of RapidIO bridging devices. The new interface is intended to
enable data transfers between RapidIO devices in combination with DMA engine
support.
