The pixclock is being set locally because it is being passed as a
pass-by-value argument rather than pass-by-reference, so the computed
pixclock is never being set in var->pixclock. Fix this by passing
by reference.

There appears to be a timing issue where using a divider of 32 breaks
the DSS for OMAP36xx despite the TRM stating 32 is a valid
number. Through experimentation, it appears that 31 works.
This same fix was issued for kernels 4.5+. However, between
kernels 4.4 and 4.5, the directory structure was changed when the
dss directory was moved inside the omapfb directory. That broke the
patch on kernels older than 4.5, because it didn't permit the patch
to apply cleanly for 4.4 and older.
A similar patch was applied to the 3.16 kernel already, but not to 4.4.
Commit 4b911101a5cd ("drm/omap: fix max fclk divider for omap36xx") is
on the 3.16 stable branch with notes from Ben about the path change.
Since this was applied for 3.16 already, this patch is for kernels
3.17 through 4.4 only.

neofb_probe() calls neo_scan_monitor() that can successfully allocate a
memory for info->monspecs.modedb and proceed to case 0x03. There it does
not free the memory and returns -1. neofb_probe() goes to label
err_scan_monitor, thus, it does not free this memory through calling
fb_destroy_modedb() as well. We can not go to label err_init_hw since
neo_scan_monitor() can fail during memory allocation. So, the patch frees
the memory directly for case 0x03.
Found by Linux Driver Verification project (linuxtesting.org).

Some memory is vmalloc'ed in the 'w100fb_save_vidmem' function and freed in
the 'w100fb_restore_vidmem' function. (these functions are called
respectively from the 'suspend' and the 'resume' functions)
However, it is also freed in the 'remove' function.
In order to avoid a potential double free, set the corresponding pointer
to NULL once freed in the 'w100fb_restore_vidmem' function.

In dual dsi case while updating backlight through dcs commands
there is a chance of getting both the readptr and dma_tx interrupt
very close, due to which DSI0 may start cmd mdp transfer and
DSI1 will start cmd dma transfer and cause deadlock.
To fix the issue do not trigger dma commands close to TE.

The "fix" struct has a 2 byte hole after ->ywrapstep and the
"fix = info->fix;" assignment doesn't necessarily clear it. It depends
on the compiler. The solution is just to replace the assignment with an
memcpy().

If maximum number of retries reached to read RxStatus over DDC and

power_off(). Instead clear it only while handling hpd_off().

In current HDMI driver, previous EDID's parsed data is being
cleared only if current EDID is successfully read and
hdmi_edid_parser() is called which indeed calls
hdmi_edid_reset_parser(). If current EDID failed to read
successfully, stale EDID parsed data from previous connection
is being retained.
So, always clear EDID parsed data on disconnection instead
of clearing it at the time of parsing new EDID.
