Andrey Konovalov reported that we were not properly checking the upper
limit before of a device configuration size before calling
memdup_user(), which could cause some problems.
So set the upper limit to PAGE_SIZE * 4, which should be good enough for
all devices.

This device gives the following error on detection.
xhci_hcd 0000:00:11.0: ERROR Transfer event for disabled endpoint or
incorrect stream ring
The same error is not seen when it is added to unusual_device
list with US_FL_NO_REPORT_OPCODES passed.

During dma teardown for dequque urb, if musb load is high, musb might
generate bogus rx ep interrupt even when the rx fifo is flushed. In such
case any of the follow log messages could happen.
musb_host_rx 1853: BOGUS RX2 ready, csr 0000, count 0
musb_host_rx 1936: RX3 dma busy, csr 2020
As mentioned in the current inline comment, clearing ep interrupt in the
teardown path avoids the bogus interrupt, so implement clear_ep_rxintr()
callback.
This bug seems to be existing since the initial driver for musb support,
but I only validated the fix back to v4.1, so only cc stable for v4.1+.

ep->mult is supposed to be set to Isochronous and
Interrupt Endapoint's multiplier value. This value
is computed from different places depending on the
link speed.
If we're dealing with HighSpeed, then it's part of
bits [12:11] of wMaxPacketSize. This case wasn't
taken into consideration before.
While at that, also make sure the ep->mult defaults
to one so drivers can use it unconditionally and
assume they'll never multiply ep->maxpacket to zero.

The UHCI controllers in Intel chipsets rely on a platform-specific non-PME
mechanism for wakeup signalling. They can generate wakeup signals even
though they don't support PME.
We need to let the USB core know this so that it will enable runtime
suspend for UHCI controllers.

usb_endpoint_maxp() returns wMaxPacketSize in its
raw form. Without taking into consideration that it
also contains other bits reserved for isochronous
endpoints.
This patch fixes one occasion where this is a
problem by making sure that we initialize
ep->maxpacket only with lower 10 bits of the value
returned by usb_endpoint_maxp(). Note that seperate
patches will be necessary to audit all call sites of
usb_endpoint_maxp() and make sure that
usb_endpoint_maxp() only returns lower 10 bits of
wMaxPacketSize.

USB-3 does not have any link state that will avoid negotiating a connection
with a plugged-in cable but will signal the host when the cable is
unplugged.
For USB-3 we used to first set the link to Disabled, then to RxDdetect to
be able to detect cable connects or disconnects. But in RxDetect the
connected device is detected again and eventually enabled.
Instead set the link into U3 and disable remote wakeups for the device.
This is what Windows does, and what Alan Stern suggested.

Endpoint command to request resources on ep0 is take upto ~800us and
this delay is observed for every new/re enumeration. As the api polls
(reads the register and it happens over cnoc) for every 1us to check
for completion it could result in congestion on cnoc. Hence increase
polling interval from 1us to 20us for this endpoint command.

Change required descriptors settings to pass as wireless RNDIS
so that driver will be auto-detected by windows. This installs
RNDIS driver automatically without manual intervention, when USB
tethering is enabled.

xhci quirks is initialized in xhci_gen_setup() which gets called
from usb_add_hcd(). Since LPM support quirk is ORed to xhci quirk
before calling usb_add_hcd(), quirk gets overwritten. Fix this issue
by moving LPM support quirk to xhci_plat_quirks() which gets called
after xhci quirk is initialized.

When usb composition switch happens upon cable disconnect and
function bind fails, function's config pointer is set to NULL.
This is resulting in to NULL ptr dereference when config is
accessed from APIs which are called asynchronously and out
side of the usb core driver(i.e. dwc3) context. Fix the
issue by directly accessing gadget pointer from gsi driver
context in those APIs.

At the end of ffs_epfiles_create() a message is logged with
the name of the epfile, however this epfile pointer is only
valid in the body of the preceding for-loop. After the loop
exits, it is now pointing one past the allocated array and
results in an out-of-bounds memory access when formatting
the string.
Since there could be multiple ep's created, the name may not
be important to log. Replace it with the count instead. Also
while ffs_epfiles_destroy() doesn't have the same problem,
do the same there anyway for symmetry.

Commit b953b45ed08c ("USB: composite: Release spinlock before
WARN()") introduced a bug where it leads to calling spin_unlock_
irq_save twice in case of delayed_status zero. Hence fix the issue
by returning from composite_setup_continue() right after WARN() in
case of delayed_status zero.

Some FS devices report maxpacket size as 4 for their BULK EPs
which is incorrect as per USB specification. This results in
ep_config command to controller timing out and enumeration fails.
As minimum maxpacket size for FS is 8, override the same for such
devices.

Currently driver is calling composite_setup_complete() when request
queuing to control endpoint fails. During disconnect or composition switch,
ep_queue() fails with -ESHUTDOWN return value. In this case also, driver is
calling composite_setup_complete(), which leads to invalid pointer
dereference. Fix it by not calling composite_setup_complete() in case of
return value of -ESHUTDOWN as anyhow composite_unbind() will take care of
clearing pending flags before freeing request buffers.

snd_card_free is a blocking function which waits for ALSA device to
be closed before freeing it. This could be blocked forever if userspace
has device node opened when midi function is unbound.
Replace it with snd_card_free_when_closed which can be safely used if
userspce has the device node opened.
It is not a blocking function and defers freeing of the card until
userspace closes the ALSA device.

Variable "ubuf " and "buf" may point to kernel address, a malicious
user could use code logic to get kernel information. Use
kstrtou8_from_user() which take care of copying buffer, and finding
u8 value here.

Some code (all error handling) submits CDBs that are allocated
on the stack. This breaks with CB/CBI code that tries to create
URB directly from SCSI command buffer - which happens to be in
vmalloced memory with vmalloced kernel stacks.
Let's make copy of the command in usb_stor_CB_transport.

This patch adds support for the TI CC3200 LaunchPad board, which uses a
custom USB vendor ID and product ID. Channel A is used for JTAG, and
channel B is used for a UART.

According to Dave Miller "the networking stack has a
hard requirement that all SKBs which are transmitted
must have their completion signalled in a fininte
amount of time. This is because, until the SKB is
freed by the driver, it holds onto socket,
netfilter, and other subsystem resources."
In summary, this means that using TX IRQ throttling
for the networking gadgets is, at least, complex and
we should avoid it for the time being.

The TIOCMIWAIT implementation would return -EINVAL if any of the three
supported signals were included in the mask.
Instead of returning an error in case TIOCM_CTS is included, simply
drop the mask check completely, which is in accordance with how other
drivers implement this ioctl.

In commit 2abd9d5fa60f9 ("usb: dwc3: ep0: Add chained TRB support"), the
size of the memory allocated with 'dma_alloc_coherent()' has been modified
but the corresponding calls to 'dma_free_coherent()' have not been updated
accordingly.
This has been spotted with coccinelle, using the following script:

Increase ohci watchout delay to 275 ms. Previous delay was 250 ms
with 20 ms of slack, after removing slack time some ohci controllers don't
respond in time. Logs from systems with controllers that have the
issue would show "HcDoneHead not written back; disabled"
