During SNK->SRC PR Swap, the in_pr_swap flag is set and is used
to ignore the Type-C disconnect notification from the charger
since that is expected to happen. However, if the "sink connect"
notification never arrives, the swap operation is incomplete,
indicating the port partner has either disconnected or is
unresponsive. But since the state machine ignored the disconnect,
it continues until reaching SRC_DISABLED due to no response, and
that is a dead-end state. Add one more check here to see if the
CC state is still disconnected and set current_pr PR_NONE to
get the state machine to process the disconnect.
Similarly do this for PE_SRC_HARD_RESET as that is an extension
of the above if a physical disconnect occurred after successful
sending of capabilities but before receiving a request and the
response timer times out. Again the disconnect notification during
the previous swap was ignored and no new CC state change arrived.

Race is happening when both audio_pcm_close() and audio_send()
executes in parallel.
When the PCM session is closed, the substream attribute of the
audio_dev structure is set to NULL in audio_pcm_close().
As there is no synchronization protection for the audio_dev subtream
attributes in audio_send(), it is causing NULL pointer dereference.
Hence fixing the issue by adding proper synchronization protection
for the audio_dev subtream attributes in audio_send().

Currently vconn is getting disabled late after disabling vbus.
This is causing failure if type-C compliance TD.4.8.3(DRP Connect
Alternate Mode), as delay is disabling vconn goes above 35ms.
Fix the issue by moving vconn disable as first step upon receiving
disconnect notification. Also, making policy engine workqueue as high
priority workqueue to be able to run state machine work with lower
latency.

The PDPHY is tolerant of a wide range for its VDD, between 2.8V
and 3.3V. Update the min/max values for regulator_set_voltage().

Assume that there are two threads, thread1 is setting
value of _rndis_qc variable in rndis_qc_bind_config_vendor
function. Thread2 jumps in and get the value of _rndis_qc
in rndis_qc_open_dev function before it is freed in
rndis_qc_bind_config_vendor function, since rndis_ipa_init
or usb_add_function failed. Use-after-free will happen as
Thread2 is referencing freed objects. To prevent this
spinlock is used where ever it is needed to protect
_rndis_qc variable.

Currently driver is allowing MODE change even if there is no active
cable connection and is waiting for to complete. For this MODE
change to complete, driver first sets power role to none to do
type C disconnect and then switch to new mode. Here disconnect won't
come as there is no active cable connection. Fix this issue by returning
error in case there is no active connection.

Currently PHY driver is using TCSR_QUSB2PHY_CLAMP_DIG_N_1P8 register
to avoid leakage issue seen during disconnect. But this could fail
USB ports working independently if this register is used as that
could clamp both inputs going to two QUSB2 PHY on platforms having
USB2 port. To fix this, it is recommended to powerdown QUSB2 PHY
by setting powerdown bit in QUSB2PHY_PORT_POWER_DOWN register
during disconnect and removing writing 0x0 to TCSR register. Removed
updating TCSR register from dts file as separate change.

Currently driver is scheduling pm_qos_work again even though
pm_qos_latency is not passed from dts file. Add a check for
pm_qos_latency and don't schedule work if pm_qos_latency value
is zero. Also remove use of static variable for last_irq_count and
add the variable for the same in dwc3 structure for the case where
multi DWC3 usages are used.

Make sure to detect short control-message transfers and log an error
when reading incomplete manufacturer and boot descriptors.
Note that the default all-zero descriptors will now be used after a
short transfer is detected instead of partially initialised ones.

Make sure to detect short control-message transfers so that errors are
logged when reading the modem status at open.
Note that while this also avoids initialising the modem status using
uninitialised heap data, these bits could not leak to user space as they
are currently not used.

Make sure to detect short control-message transfers when fetching
modem and line state in open and when retrieving registers.
This specifically makes sure that an errno is returned to user space on
errors in TIOCMGET instead of a zero bitmask.
Also drop the unused getdevice function which also lacked appropriate
error handling.

Make sure to detect short responses when reading the latency timer to
avoid using stale buffer data.
Note that no heap data would currently leak through sysfs as
ASYNC_LOW_LATENCY is set by default.

Fix open error handling which failed to detect errors when reading the
MSR and LSR registers, something which could lead to the shadow
registers being initialised from errnos.
Note that calling the generic close implementation is sufficient in the
error paths as the interrupt urb has not yet been submitted and the
register updates have not been made.

Make sure to detect and return an error on zero-length control-message
transfers when reading from the device.
This addresses a potential failure to detect an empty transmit buffer
during close.

We're currently emulating the vbus and id interrupts in the OTGSC
read API, but we also need to make sure that if we're handling
the events with extcon that we don't enable the interrupts for
those events in the hardware. Therefore, properly emulate this
register if we're using extcon, but don't enable the interrupts.
This allows me to get my cable connect/disconnect working
properly without getting spurious interrupts on my device that
uses an extcon for these two events.

With the id and vbus detection done via extcon we need to make
sure we poll the status of OTGSC properly by considering what the
extcon is saying, and not just what the register is saying. Let's
move this hw_wait_reg() function to the only place it's used and
simplify it for polling the OTGSC register. Then we can make
certain we only use the hw_read_otgsc() API to read OTGSC, which
will make sure we properly handle extcon events.

Currently driver is advertising as USB device as 0x210 even if
maximum speed is limited to high speed mode. This is causing throughput
degradation for RNDIS with host machines that enables USB2 LPM. Hence
disable USB2 LPM for device having maximum speed limited to high speed
mode by advertizing as 0x200.

Upon cable disconnect PMI calls qusb_phy_update_dpdm() to turn off phy
regulators before notifying vbus off to usb. As a result phy power down
sequence is executed with phy regulators turned off. This may result into
improper phy line state. Fix this issue by adding a reference counter to
keep track of all regulator enable and disable requests and only disable
regulator when ref count becomes zero. Also add a mutex in
qusb_phy_enable_power() API to prevent any race condition in enabling and
disabling phy regulators between the callers i.e. PMI and phy driver.

QUSB PHY requires VDD, 1p8 and 3p1 regulators to remove any unwanted
pull downs on DP/DM lines. These pull downs may result in incorrect charger
detection by PMI. Avoid incorrect charger detection by turning on VDD,
1p8 and 3p1 whenever PMI requests DP/DM to be floating.

If f_cdev_alloc() fails it frees the port context and set_inst_name()
call back returns with error. As a result free_func_inst() call back
is called which is dereferencing port context from f_cdev_opts context
which results into NULL ptr dereference. Fix the issue by adding NULL
check for port context pointer in f_cdev_opts context.

The specific voltage levels for the vdda33 regulator may vary
depending on the target. Add an optional device tree property to
allow specifying a 3-tuple of voltages for minimum, operating
and maximum voltage levels. The minimum level is used when simply
powering on, whereas the operating level is used when initializing
the PHY.
