While in Source mode, a notification that a source is attached
is unexpected. In this case, force a disconnect in order to
clean up state and turn off VBUS and Vconn.

In the disconnect handler of usbpd_sm(), pd->current_pr is
already set to PR_NONE, so there is no reason to set it again.
This helps for cases where a quick reconnection notification
just arrived and sets the variable to either PR_SRC or PR_SINK
but the disconnect handling clears it resulting in nothing to
be done the next time work is scheduled.

This fixes an error message that was probably copied and pasted. The same
message is used for both the in and out endpoints, so it makes it impossible
to know which one actually failed because both cases say "IN".
Make the out endpoint error message say "OUT".

A gadget driver will not disable eps immediately when ->disconnect()
is called. But, since this driver assumes all eps stop after
the ->disconnect(), unexpected behavior happens (especially in system
suspend).
So, this patch disables all eps in usbhsg_try_stop(). After disabling
eps by renesas_usbhs driver, since some functions will be called by
both a gadget and renesas_usbhs driver, renesas_usbhs driver should
protect uep->pipe. To protect uep->pipe easily, this patch adds a new
lock in struct usbhsg_uep.

This patch fixes an issue that some registers may be not initialized
after resume if the USBHSF_RUNTIME_PWCTRL is not set. Otherwise,
if a cable is not connected, the driver will not enable INTENB0.VBSE
after resume. And then, the driver cannot detect the VBUS.

When us->extra is null the driver is not initialized, however, a
later call to osd200_scsi_to_ata is made that dereferences
us->extra, causing a null pointer dereference. The code
currently detects and reports that the driver is not initialized;
add a return to avoid the subsequent dereference issue in this
check.

to DID_ERROR << 16

This off by one in stream_id indexing caused NULL pointer dereference and
soft lockup on machines with USB attached SCSI devices connected to a
hotpluggable xhci controller.
The code that cleans up pending URBs for dead hosts tried to dereference
a stream ring at the invalid stream_id 0.
ep->stream_info->stream_rings[0] doesn't point to a ring.
Start looping stream_id from 1 like in all the other places in the driver,
and check that the ring exists before trying to kill URBs on it.

A uncleared PLC (port link change) bit will prevent furuther port event
interrupts for that port. Leaving it uncleared caused get_port_status()
to timeout after 20000ms while waiting to get the final port event
interrupt for resume -> U0 state change.
This is a targeted fix for a specific case where we get a port resume event
racing with xhci resume. The port event interrupt handler notices xHC is
not yet running and bails out early, leaving PLC uncleared.
The whole xhci port resuming needs more attention, but while working on it
it anyways makes sense to always ensure PLC is cleared in get_port_status
before setting a new link state and waiting for its completion.

CURRENT_MAX and VOLTAGE_MAX should be used to show the current values
for the charger. The driver currently uses them to communicate with
the USB and PD drivers.
Update the code such that USB uses SDP_CURRENT_MAX to set 500mA/900mA
current limits after enumeration and PD uses PD_VOLTAGE_MIN/MAX to set
the adapter voltage limits.
CURRENT_MAX now shows the max current that can be drawn from the charger
and VOLTAGE_MAX shows the max voltage that the charger can negotiate up
to.
CURRENT_MAX and VOLTAGE_MAX can no longer be set.

In dwc3_msm_probe, when need to defer probe, driver should clear
resource has been allocated and de-attach the children device.
of_platform_depopulate is the complement of of_platform_populate to
remove devices created here. And driver also needs to destroy
workqueue in error case.

This enum is used to specify what packet type (SOP, SOP', SOP'')
to the PD PHY when sending and receiving messages. To avoid
confusion with the message type field of a message header (e.g.
MSG_REQUEST, MSG_ACCEPT, etc), rename the enum to pd_sop_type
and change the parameter name from 'type' to 'sop'. Also change
the enum pd_sig_type parameter name to 'sig' for similar clarity.
This patch is cosmetic, no functional changes.

It seems possibility that usb_gadget_map_request may not been called
during usb cable connected so ep0_usb_req.request.dma is still by
default 0 which will pass the if condition in unmapping, hence unmap
a request which never been mapped.
Initialize ep0_usb_req.request.dma to DMA_ERROR_CODE will avoid this
corner case crash.

The usbip stack dynamically allocates the transfer_buffer and
setup_packet of each urb that got generated by the tcp to usb stub code.
As these pointers are always used only once we will set them to NULL
after use. This is done likewise to the free_urb code in vudc_dev.c.
This patch fixes double kfree situations where the usbip remote side
added the URB_FREE_BUFFER.

The USB core and sysfs will attempt to enumerate certain parameters
which are unsupported by the au0828 - causing inconsistent behavior
and sometimes causing the chip to reset. Avoid making these calls.
This problem manifested as intermittent cases where the au8522 would
be reset on analog video startup, in particular when starting up ALSA
audio streaming in parallel - the sysfs entries created by
snd-usb-audio on streaming startup would result in unsupported control
messages being sent during tuning which would put the chip into an
unknown state.

Whenever userspace calls read system call for ctrl_dev, ccid driver
waits till it receives control request from host. Once it receives
control data, it unblocks read and passes data to userspace. But if
cable is disconnected, then ccid driver is not unblocking read due
to which next open of ctrl_dev failing. This results in ccid functionality
not working after cable reconnection as userspace not able to open
ctrl_dev. Hence fix the issue by checking for online status and if
online flag is cleared, unblock read and return -ENODEV.
Also align request buffer length to OUT endpoint's max packet size,
when userspace tries to queue buffer length that is not multiple of
OUT endpoint max packet as USB controller expects length multiple of
maxpacket.

When floating charger is detected, driver first notifies -ETIMEDOUT to
PMI after 10 sec and then stops peripheral by simulating cable disconnect.
As part of disconnect it notifies PMI to draw 0ma which PMI re-interprets
as a SDP in bus suspend state and reconfigures PMI for SDP. Hence send
charger current notification only as part of cable disconnect simulation
by checking charger type.

USB device is failing to initiate L1 remote wakeup for following
scenarios:-
1) When USB host initiates L1 between control transfers
(Setup and Status Phase).
2)In case of BULK only composition when USB host initiates L1 after
PING retries on OUT endpoint. Device fails to initiate L1 remote
wakeup when SW issues start transfer.
3) When bus is suspended and Start transfer is issued on IN TRB
Hence disable high speed link power management support by advertising
bcdUSB as 2.0 in high speed mode.

Currently driver is enabling VBUS first and then enable VCONN before
PE_SRC_startup when type C mode is POWER_SUPPLY_TYPEC_SINK_POWERED_CABLE.
On some platforms, enabling VBUS is taking time which is causing VCONN
reaching 2.7V after VBUS reaches VsafeV. This is exceeding 2msec timelimit
mentioned in type C specification and causes type C complaince tests
failure. Hence enable VCONN first and then enable VBUS to pass below
type C compliance tests:

If the request->length is zero, a ZLP should already be sent due to that
and another ZLP is not needed to terminate the transfer.

So far, dwc3 has always missed request->zero
handling for every endpoint. Let's implement
that so we can handle cases where transfer must
be finished with a ZLP.
Note that dwc3 is a little special. Even though
we're dealing with a ZLP, we still need a buffer
of wMaxPacketSize bytes; to hide that detail from
every gadget driver, we have a preallocated buffer
of 1024 bytes (biggest bulk size) to use (and
share) among all endpoints.

It is possible that host sends SEND_STRING control request with zero
length and in that case, driver ends up setting string as NULL. This
results in CTS failure for accessory test. Hence add check for length
and update string only if length is nonzero.
