There were no regressions or error messages on the machines without platform XHCI. We used to have separate functions for these, and needed to check host version before calling the right function. Now Mediatek host has an additional quirk on how it uses the TD Size field for remaining data. To prevent yet another function for calculating remainder we instead want to make one quirk friendly unified function. If that is the case, just fail early to prevent the following warning. Previously a ring segment didn't use a full memory page, and every new ring segment got a new memory page, so the off by one error in checking the upper bound was never seen. Now that we use a full memory page, 256 TRBs (4096 bytes), the off by one didn't catch the case when a TRB was the first element of the next segment.
