One scenario that could lead to UAF is two threads writing
simultaneously to the "tx99" debug file. One of them would
set the "start" value to true and follow to ath9k_tx99_init().
Inside the function it would set the sc->tx99_state to true
after allocating sc->tx99skb. Then, the other thread would
execute write_file_tx99() and call ath9k_tx99_deinit().
sc->tx99_state would be freed. After that, the first thread
would continue inside ath9k_tx99_init() and call
r = ath9k_tx99_send(sc, sc->tx99_skb, &txctl);
that would make use of the freed sc->tx99_skb memory.

Modularize the wcnss power up sequence like wcnss voltage
regulator enable/disable sequence and voltage regulator
current and voltage level parsing method. Remove hack code
from the power wcnss power process and enable/disable
the power resource if it's defined in the wcnss device node.
Update the debug logs to track the exact state of the power
state during device bootup. Remove the unnecessary logging
for the optional resource request fails during device bootup.

The WLAN host driver use device serial number to generate
MAC address. The wcnss platform driver export symbol for
WLAN host driver to read the device serial number to generate
the MAC address. Add updated SOC API to get the device serial
number in the wcnss platform driver.

Add the debugfs support for full power on sequence to boot device,
full power off sequence to shutdown device, PCIe link up/down and
powering off device only. It can help to debug device boot issues
without WLAN host driver.

p2p_find uses primary interface mac address during active
scan instead of the later created p2p interface on which
wpa_supplicant is running.
wpa_supplicant creates a p2p_device interface if the driver
exposes a dedicated p2p_device interface capability. The mac
address for the created p2p_device interface will be same as of
the primary interface registered with the netdev.
By disabling the dedicated p2p_device interface capabilty
for wcn3990, wpa_supplicant uses the interface passed to it
from commandline interface and hence will use the correct
mac address for the active scan purpose.

After finishing initialization during PCIe probe, there is no need to
keep PCIe link up. Hence suspend PCIe link and power off device after
PCIe probe for QCA6290 chipset.

The lower level nl80211 code in cfg80211 ensures that "len" is between
25 and NL80211_ATTR_FRAME (2304). We subtract DOT11_MGMT_HDR_LEN (24) from
"len" so thats's max of 2280. However, the action_frame->data[] buffer is
only BRCMF_FIL_ACTION_FRAME_SIZE (1800) bytes long so this memcpy() can
overflow.

When destroying a VRF device we cleanup the slaves in its ndo_uninit()
function, but that causes packets to be switched (skb->dev == vrf being
destroyed) even though we're pass the point where the VRF should be
receiving any packets while it is being dismantled. This causes a BUG_ON
to trigger if we have raw sockets (trace below).
The reason is that the inetdev of the VRF has been destroyed but we're
still sending packets up the stack with it, so let's free the slaves in
the dellink callback as David Ahern suggested.
Note that this fix doesn't prevent packets from going up when the VRF
device is admin down.

The function, skb_complete_tx_timestamp(), used to allow passing in a
NULL pointer for the time stamps, but that was changed in commit
62bccb8cdb69051b95a55ab0c489e3cab261c8ef ("net-timestamp: Make the
clone operation stand-alone from phy timestamping"), and the existing
call sites, all of which are in the dp83640 driver, were fixed up.
Even though the kernel-doc was subsequently updated in commit
7a76a021cd5a292be875fbc616daf03eab1e6996 ("net-timestamp: Update
skb_complete_tx_timestamp comment"), still a bug fix from Manfred
Rudigier came into the driver using the old semantics. Probably
Manfred derived that patch from an older kernel version.
This fix should be applied to the stable trees as well.

The commit ("net/phy: micrel: Add workaround for bad autoneg") fixes an
autoneg failure case by resetting the hardware. This turns off
intterupts. Things will work themselves out if the phy polls, as it will
figure out it's state during a poll. However if the phy uses only
intterupts, the phy will stall, since interrupts are off. This patch
fixes the issue by calling config_intr after resetting the phy.

Similarly to QCA6174, QCA9377 requires the CE5 configuration to be
available for other feature. Use the ath10k_pci_override_ce_config()
for it as well.
This is required for TF2.0 firmware. Previous FW revisions were
working fine without this patch.

The QCA wlan chipset uses tlmm, msm and pmic gpio for the WLAN_EN
signal pin. The tlmm or msm gpio uses pinctrl or gpio library for
configuring the sleep/active state runtime.
The pmic gpio runtime configuration is not feasible using gpio
library or pinctrl framework. Convert the pmic gpio to fixed
regulator to runtime control(enable/disable) via regulator framework.

Vote 1.8V IO and XTAL regulators before 3.3V VREG for WLAN hardware
to strictly follow the hardware requirement. Make sure 3.3V VREG is
voted at least 100us after 1.8V IO.

The wcn external gpio configuration has moved to WLAN firmware
code. To avoid the gpio resource request conflict and power offload
failure between wcnss platform driver and WLAN firmware.

The WLAN dual band support vary from target to target
and to enable/disable dual band support for a particular
target the wcnss platform driver read the wlan hardware
qfuse register and export the dual band capability info
to wlan host driver to enable/disable this dual band feature.

Add debugfs interface to simulate device and firmware boot step
by step. This can provide the flexibility to debug both host and
device issues in boot path. The debugfs node will only be added
in debug builds.

Add an option for the debug module parameter to skip device boot
during driver probe. This adds the flexibility to boot device
later after kernel boots.

Driver should directly call PCI ioremap API, and not customize
it with wrapper function which is only a WAR for QCA6290 chipset
emulation.
