The mac80211 support user configured wowlan enable/disable
feature using wlan utils, If the wowlan feature is not enabled
by user the mac80211 subsystem fallback to core stop instead
of wow suspend during system suspend even the wlan firmware
support wowlan feature.
So in driver load init wow and set the wlan device as a wakeup
capable device and deinit wow in driver unload.

In IPV6 the neighbor solicitations are used by nodes to determine
the link layer address of a neighbor and neighbor advertisements
are used by nodes to respond to a neighbor solicitation message.
During WOW suspend offload the neighbor solicitation packet handling
method to WLAN firmware, this adds support to prevent the device
wakeup by neighbor solicitation packet.

The hypervisor does not support PCI_MSM, and uses PCI_HOST_GENERIC
instead. After this change, the cnss2/PCIe for WLAN in metal case
depends on PCI_MSM, while in GVM case depends on PCI_HOST_GENERIC.
Currently, the WLAN chip is powered up by hypervisor. So, just
bypass power related code.

The non-bmi targets do need to load firmware from the
driver and is loaded by other procedure.
Since, utf.bin file is not needed, this change skips parsing
and loading of the same.

commit 836856e3bd61d0644e5178a2c1b51d90459e2788 upstream.
The cw1200 uses #ifdef to check for CONFIG_PM, but then
uses SIMPLE_DEV_PM_OPS, which leaves the references out when
CONFIG_PM_SLEEP is not defined, so we get a warning with
PM=y && PM_SLEEP=n:
drivers/net/wireless/st/cw1200/cw1200_spi.c:450:12: error: 'cw1200_spi_suspend' defined but not used [-Werror=unused-function]
This removes the incorrect #ifdef and instead uses a __maybe_unused
annotation to let the compiler know it can silently drop
the function definition.
For the DEV_PM_OPS definition, we can use an IS_ENABLED() check
to avoid defining the structure when CONFIG_PM is not set without
the #ifdef.

commit 7fc1503c906f0fac62d3506a6e993e49fb996248 upstream.
On x86, the cw1200 driver produces a rather silly warning about the
possible use of the 'ret' variable without an initialization
presumably after being confused by the architecture specific definition
of WARN_ON:
drivers/net/wireless/st/cw1200/wsm.c: In function ‘wsm_handle_rx’:
drivers/net/wireless/st/cw1200/wsm.c:1457:9: error: ‘ret’ may be used uninitialized in this function [-Werror=maybe-uninitialized]
We have already checked that 'count' is larger than 0 here, so
we know that 'ret' is initialized. Changing the 'for' loop
into do/while also makes this clear to the compiler.

commit 2acd846485549655582ee379ceb966206f91e6f8 upstream.
The rtl8821ae_dm_txpower_tracking_callback_thermalmeter function
contains a call to RT_TRACE() that is indented in a misleading
way, as pointed out by a gcc-6 warning:
drivers/net/wireless/realtek/rtlwifi/rtl8821ae/dm.c: In function 'rtl8821ae_dm_txpower_tracking_callback_thermalmeter':
drivers/net/wireless/realtek/rtlwifi/rtl8821ae/dm.c:2491:4: error: statement is indented as if it were guarded by...
RT_TRACE(rtlpriv, COMP_POWER_TRACKING, DBG_LOUD,
^~~~~~~~
drivers/net/wireless/realtek/rtlwifi/rtl8821ae/dm.c:2488:3: note: ...this 'for' clause, but it is not
for (p = RF90_PATH_A; p < MAX_PATH_NUM_8821A; p++)
^~~
It is clear from the context that the call was not meant to be
part of the loop and only the indentation is wrong, so this
removes the extra tabs.

commit c713fb071edc0efc01a955f65a006b0e1795d2eb upstream.
There has been a coding error in rtl8821ae since it was first introduced,
namely that an 8-bit register was read using a 16-bit read in
_rtl8821ae_dbi_read(). This error was fixed with commit 40b368af4b75
("rtlwifi: Fix alignment issues"); however, this change led to
instability in the connection. To restore stability, this change
was reverted in commit b8b8b16352cd ("rtlwifi: rtl8821ae: Fix connection
lost problem").
Unfortunately, the unaligned access causes machine checks in ARM
architecture, and we were finally forced to find the actual cause of the
problem on x86 platforms. Following a suggestion from Pkshih
<pkshih@realtek.com>, it was found that increasing the ASPM L1
latency from 0 to 7 fixed the instability. This parameter was varied to
see if a smaller value would work; however, it appears that 7 is the
safest value. A new symbol is defined for this quantity, thus it can be
easily changed if necessary.

WCN3990 gives no padding for llc header in the rx pkts.
The rounding off of hdrlen causes extra bits from LLC header
being stripped off and hence the pkt is misinterpreted and
subsequently discarded.
Set the fw flag to skip the hdrlen rounding off for wcn3990.

The firmware is always enabled in the mission mode,
even if the driver is in the utf mode. This causes
unexpected behaviour when driver is in utf mode.
Enable the firmware in FTM mode if the driver is
started in UTF mode, else enable the firmware in
the normal mission mode.

WCN3900 uses mgmt frame tx by ref via WMI.
The txed mgmt frames should be freed when the
firmware sends the over-the-air tx status of
the corresponding mgmt frames.
Handle the wmi mgmt tx completion event and free
the corresponding mgmt frame.

WCN3990 sends mgmt frames by reference via WMI. If
the wmi command send fails, the frame is not being
dma unmapped.
Fix the missing dma unmapping of mgmt tx frame when
wmi command sending fails. Add a separate wmi-tlv op
for mgmt tx, via ref, which accepts dma mapped address
which is sent to the firmware.

The HL1.0 firmware uses msdu desc_id above 3000 as a reference
to indicate tx completion on a different endpoint. Due to this, if the
host driver uses more than 3000 msdu desc_id, the tx completion
for the msdu with desc_id above 3000 is sent to a different endpoint.
Setting the MSDU_ID_NEW_PARTITION host driver capability support
in the wmi ready flags indicates to the HL1.0 firmware to change
this threshold reference to a higher value.

The SRRI/DRRI can be read from DDR instead of doing an
actual hardware read. Host allocates non cached memory
on ddr and sends the physical address of this memory to
the CE hardware. The hardware updates the RRI on this
particular location. Target registers are not accessible
during CSS shutdown while target is in idle mode. Direct
access to SRRI/DRRI can lead to NOC error in target idle
state. Read SRRI/DRRI from DDR location instead of
direct target read.
