MMC_PM_WAKE_SDIO_IRQ flag is used by platform driver(sdhci-msm
here) to determine if SDIO wakeup IRQ needs to be enabled
or not. If this flag is not removed in every mmc_resume_host,
then while suspend, platform driver will configure the sdio
wakeup IRQ even though wlan is disabled from UI.
This flag can be enabled by wlan driver before entring into suspend.
In this case since Wlan is not enable and thus not entering WoW mode,
pull up present on this SDIO GPIO line will pull the line high (which
otherwise is pulled low by wlan firmware in WoW mode and triggers
interrupt by pulling it high in WoW mode) which eventually will
trigger a false SDIO wakeup interrupt thus breaking the suspend
everytime.
Hence disable the flag everytime in mmc_sdio_resume and let
wlan driver enables it (-by sdio_set_host_pm_flags)
before entering into suspend if needed
for sdio wakeup part.

This patch enables the deferred resume support which would
prevent initialization of the card each time the system resumes.
With this change, the resume process would only be initiated if
a request is received.
Following scenario can occur:
1. device runtime suspended, system suspend is triggered
When resumed, the device would not be resumed until a
request is received.
2. device is runtime active, system suspend is triggered
When resumed, the device would be marked as BUS_NEEDS_RESUME
and actual resume would happen, when a request is received.
At this point, the device may also enter runtime-suspend or
system suspend may also occur. In both the cases, since the
device has not been resumed, it won't be suspended again.
However, the platform device would be runtime suspended
and resumed as before.
It can so happen that the card is removed even before a
request is received. In this case the device would be
resumed and card would be removed from core layer and
upper layers would be notified.
In case of SDIO cards, this change would not have any effect
since manual resume would be enabled for devices supporting
a block read/write commands.

Avoid printing of the error messages and register dumps,

During suspend/resume, the driver writes to AUTOBKOPS_EN bit in
EXT_CSD register of eMMC which is R/W/E. Even after power off
R/W/E bit will retain it's value, as it will be stored in NAND
flash. Multiple writes can wear out the specific NAND block which
store the system data(AUTO BKOPS bit in this case). So to avoid
this, enabling/disabling of autobkops has been removed from
suspend and resume. The background operations, if any, will stop
when sleep command is sent during suspend process.

The version 3.00 SDHCI spec. was a bit unclear about the
required data alignment for 64-bit DMA, whereas the version
4.10 spec. uses different language and indicates that only
4-byte alignment is required rather than the 8-byte alignment
currently implemented. That make no difference to SD and EMMC
which invariably transfer data in sector-aligned blocks.
However with SDIO, it results in using more DMA descriptors
than necessary. Theoretically that slows DMA slightly although
DMA is not the limiting factor for throughput, so there is no
discernable impact on performance. Nevertheless, the driver
should follw the spec unless there is good reason not to, so
this patch corrects the alignment criterion.
There is a more complicated criterion for the DMA descriptor
table itself. However the table is allocated by dma_alloc_coherent()
which allocates pages (i.e. aligned to a page boundary).
For simplicity just check it is 8-byte aligned, but add a comment
that some Intel controllers actually require 8-byte alignment
even when using 32-bit DMA.

Baytrail eMMC/SD/SDIO host controllers have been known to
hang. A change to a hardware setting has been found to
reduce the occurrence of such hangs. This patch ensures
the correct setting.
This patch applies cleanly to v4.4+. It could go to

This patch adds a new sysfs node (latency_hist) and reports
IO (svc time) latency histograms. Disabled by default, can be
enabled by echoing 0 into latency_hist, stats can be cleared
by writing 2 into latency_hist. This commit fixes the 32 bit
build breakage in the previous commit. Tested on both 32 bit
and 64 bit arm devices.

The code that fills packed command header assumes that CPU runs in
little-endian mode. Hence the header is malformed in big-endian mode
and causes MMC data transfer errors:

Upon any CQ error, the driver tries to halt the CQE first and
if it fails to halt, then CQE is disabled. The error handling
work function mmc_blk_cmdq_err() also tries to HALT the CQE
at couple of places and takes some action based on the HALT
success/error status. But since CQE is disabled, we should not
treat any errors of CQE halt/unhalt as critical and in fact,
we should not even attempt to halt/unhalt.

The legacy interrupts are enabled as part of CQE halt. But there could
be few cases, where halt fails. In those cases, CQE is disabled without
enabling legacy interrupts. Without this we cannot send any commands
like status CMD13 in legacy mode as part of error handling work.

There could be cases where CQE halt might fail and in which
case, CQE gets disabled as part of error handling.
In this case, !mmc_host_halt() will be true and the commands
sent in legacy mode are getting software request timeout errors
as they are getting handled as cmdq irq.
Hence, add !mmc_host_cq_disable() check as well in addition to
!mmc_host_halt() in sdhci_irq() before considering it as a
cmdq irq.

When CQE detects a RED error (response error) from the device,
it triggers a RED interrupt. The SW driver as part of the RED
IRQ handling, puts the CQ in either halt or disabled state
before scheduling the error work. Hence, send the status CMD13
in legacy mode to decode the RED error for further debugging.

Some eMMCs set the partition switch timeout too low.
Now typically eMMCs are considered a critical component (e.g. because
they store the root file system) and consequently are expected to be
reliable. Thus we can neglect the use case where eMMCs can't switch
reliably and we might want a lower timeout to facilitate speedy
recovery.
Although we could employ a quirk for the cards that are affected (if
we could identify them all), as described above, there is little
benefit to having a low timeout, so instead simply set a minimum
timeout.
The minimum is set to 300ms somewhat arbitrarily - the examples that
have been seen had a timeout of 10ms but were sometimes taking 60-70ms.

For SDCC version 5.0.0, MCI registers are
removed from SDCC interface and some registers
are moved to HC. This change is to support MCI
register removal for msmfalcon.
New compatible string "qcom,sdhci-msm-v5" is
added for msmfalcon to support this change.

When CONFIG_MMC_SIMULATE_MAX_SPEED is enabled, Expose max_read_speed,
max_write_speed and cache_size default module parameters and sysfs
controls to simulate a slow eMMC device. Default values are 0 (off),
0 (off) and 4 MB respectively.

If mmc_blk_ioctl returns -EINVAL, blkdev_ioctl continues to
work without returning err to user-space. But now we check
CAP_SYS_RAWIO firstly, so we return -EPERM to blkdev_ioctl,
which make blkdev_ioctl return -EPERM to user-space directly.
So this will break all the ioctl with BLKROSET. Now we find
Android-adb suffer it for the following log:

Since sdio_reset_comm() re-initializes the SDIO card, disable retuning
before idling and shutting down the card. Tuning will be re-enabled (if
necessary) in mmc_sdio_init_card().

TEST=With CL:311815, toggle WiFi on/off on Smaug and observe that the
WiFi card comes back up and is able to tune successfully.

When the regulators are not managed by SDHCI host driver (i.e.,

Add support and PCI IDs for more Broxton host controllers
Other BXT IDs were added in v4.4 so cc'ing stable. This patch
is dependent on commit 163cbe31e516 ("mmc: sdhci-pci: Fix card
detect race for Intel BXT/APL") but that is already in stable
since v4.4.4.

Normally the timeout clock frequency is read from the capabilities
register. It is also possible to set the value prior to calling
sdhci_add_host() in which case that value will override the
capabilities register value. However that was being done after
calculating max_busy_timeout so that max_busy_timeout was being
calculated using the wrong value of timeout_clk.
Fix that by moving the override before max_busy_timeout is
calculated.
The result is that the max_busy_timeout and max_discard
increase for BSW devices so that, for example, the time for
mkfs.ext4 on a 64GB eMMC drops from about 1 minute 40 seconds
to about 20 seconds.
Note, in the future, the capabilities setting will be tidied up
and this override won't be used anymore. However this fix is
needed for stable.

The calculation for the timeout based on the number of card clocks is
incorrect. The calculation assumed:
timeout in microseconds = clock cycles / clock in Hz
which is clearly a several orders of magnitude wrong. Fix this by
multiplying the clock cycles by 1000000 prior to dividing by the Hz
based clock. Also, as per part 1, ensure that the division rounds
up.
As this needs 64-bit math via do_div(), avoid it if the clock cycles
is zero.

The data timeout gives the minimum amount of time that should be
waited before timing out if no data is received from the card.
Simply dividing the nanosecond part by 1000 does not give this
required guarantee, since such a division rounds down. Use
DIV_ROUND_UP() to give the desired timeout.

If mmc_blk_ioctl returns -EINVAL, blkdev_ioctl continues to
work without returning err to user-space. But now we check
CAP_SYS_RAWIO firstly, so we return -EPERM to blkdev_ioctl,
which make blkdev_ioctl return -EPERM to user-space directly.
So this will break all the ioctl with BLKROSET. Now we find
Android-adb suffer it for the following log:
remount of /system failed;
couldn't make block device writable: Operation not permitted
openat(AT_FDCWD, "/dev/block/platform/ff420000.dwmmc/by-name/system", O_RDONLY) = 3
ioctl(3, BLKROSET, 0) = -1 EPERM (Operation not permitted)
