* input: misc: add support for scaling X and Y touch co-ordinatesShantanu Jain2016-03-23
| | | | | | | | | | | | In certain situations, due to resolution mismatch, we may need to scale up/down the X and Y co-ordinates returned by the touch controller. Add support for the same where we scale up/down the X and Y touch co-ordinates returned from the touch controller before sending it to android. In such cases, we also need to ensure that the display resolution matches the touch resolution. Add support for that as well. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This driver allows userspace to receive notification when client specified key combinations are pressed. The client opens /dev/keychord and writes a list of keychords for the driver to monitor. The client then reads or polls /dev/keychord for notifications. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | hp_sdc_rtc_proc_show() use timeval to store the time, which will overflow in 2038. This patch fixes this problem by replacing timeval with timespec64. hp_sdc_rtc_proc_show() only output string, so that userspace will work normally if we apply this patch. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Some encoders have both outputs low in stable states, others also have a stable state with both outputs high (half-period mode) and some have a stable state in all steps (quarter-period mode). The driver used to support the former states and with this change it can also support the later. This commit also deprecates the 'half-period' property and introduces a new property 'steps-per-period'. This property specifies the number of steps (stable states) produced by the rotary encoder for each GPIO period. This resulted in some misimplementation of helpers on ARM and confused developers about the expected behavior. For instance, with pfn_to_mfn, we expect to get an MFN based on the name. Although, if we look at the implementation on x86, it's returning a GFN. For clarity and avoid new confusion, replace any reference to mfn with gfn in any helpers used by PV drivers. The x86 code will still keep some reference of pfn_to_mfn which may be used by all kind of guests No changes as been made in the hypercall field, even though they may be invalid, in order to keep the same as the defintion in xen repo. Note that page_to_mfn has been renamed to xen_page_to_gfn to avoid a name to close to the KVM function gfn_to_page. Take also the opportunity to simplify simple construction such as pfn_to_mfn(page_to_pfn(page)) into xen_page_to_gfn. More complex clean up will come in follow-up patches. | | * | Input: max8997_haptic - fix module aliasJavier Martinez Canillas2015-08-28
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The driver is a platform driver and not a I2C driver so its modalias should be exported with MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE(platform,...) instead of MODULE_DEVICE_TABLE(i2c,...). Also, remove the unnecessary MODULE_ALIAS("platform:max8997-haptic") now that the correct module alias is created. | | * | Input: Allow compile test of GPIO consumers if !GPIOLIBGeert Uytterhoeven2015-08-04
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The GPIO subsystem provides dummy GPIO consumer functions if GPIOLIB is not enabled. Hence drivers that depend on GPIOLIB, but use GPIO consumer functionality only, can still be compiled if GPIOLIB is not enabled. Relax the dependency on GPIOLIB if COMPILE_TEST is enabled, where appropriate. | | * | Input: export I2C module alias information in missing driversJavier Martinez Canillas2015-07-30
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | The I2C core always reports the MODALIAS uevent as "i2c:<client name" regardless if the driver was matched using the I2C id_table or the of_match_table. So the driver needs to export the I2C table and this be built into the module or udev won't have the necessary information to auto load the correct module when the device is added. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | Using managed input device (via devm_input_allocate_device) simplifies error handling and driver removal paths and also silences CID# 712569. | | * | Input: pmic8xxx-pwrkey - support shutdownStephen Boyd2015-07-23
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | On pm8xxx PMICs, shutdown and restart are signaled to the PMIC via a pin called PS_HOLD. When this pin goes low, the PMIC performs a configurable power sequence. Add a .shutdown hook so that we can properly configure this power sequence for shutdown or restart depending on the system state.
